dear minhyuk,
you smiled and placed the bandaid around my bleeding finger. i stared at you as butterflies flew around my stomach.

"why are you here?" i blurted.
"to see how you were doing."
"why did you take me to the hospital?"
"woah woah, stop with all the questions." you chuckled and i smiled softly.

"i was with jessica on the beach. she confessed to me that she was cheating on me with my best friend, wonho."

"i'm.. sorry." i said solemnly, even though i felt happy inside.

"don't be. i wasn't that upset since my parents want me to be with her. i never liked her anyway. i was walking home when i heard a splash behind me. you jumped off the cliff." you said and stared at me.

i became quiet for a while as tears ran down my cheek. your hand touched mine and you held it tightly.

"i wanted to... die." i confessed quietly.
"why? all your family and friends would be devastated without you."
"i don't have any friends. i never did. i don't have any family. i used to..."
"i'm so sorry for your loss. may i ask what happened to them?"
"my father killed my mother and ran away..." i choked out and sobbed softly. you held my hand and wiped away my tears.
"well, i know someone who cares about you."
"no one does." i stared plainly.
"i do."
