dear minhyuk,
i woke up in a white room again. what happened to me?

you rushed up to me and placed a kiss on my cheek.

"what happened?" i asked, and coughed.
"jessica went to the girls restroom and beat you up... i saw you all covered in blood and cried so hard... i was so scared... i love you." you said and sobbed.
"i love you too."
"are you feeling alright?"
"don't lose hope."

everything came flashing back to me. my mother dying in front of me. jessica abusing me. every single thought.

i coughed harshly as blood came out. the heart monitor started beating rapidly as the doctors came rushing in. i blacked out.

minhyuk POV:

"please leave the room sure. she is not stable. once we are done, you will be allowed to come in." the doctor said and gestured me to the door.
"she's my girlfriend! something's wrong i need-"
"we have everything under control sure. please calm down." they escorted me out of the room. i sat down and cried softly. what is happening to my girlfriend?

a while later...

the doctor came out and stared at me sadly.

"is she alright?" i asked worriedly.
"i'm sorry, but she's... gone."

my heart dropped to the floor. i couldn't see properly. my arms and legs went numb. my brain didn't function properly.

my girlfriend was dead.

later on...

i gained up enough courage to ask the doctor some questions.

"how did she die?" i choked out.
"she never told you? i thought that she would tell her boyfriend that."
"but how.. did she die? was it jessica?" i said and clenched my teeth together.
"her injuries from jessica were severe, but that wasn't the main cause of her death.
"then what was?"
"she had cancer."

my heart turned black. my soul left my body. why didn't you ever tell me? i could've helped you. my eyes turned watery as i cried heavily. everything in my life was falling apart.

i lost the one person i loved. she was gone. she would be in the stars now. but, never will me again.

her last words to me were "don't lose hope."
