As i smothly walked up to the front of the class i made sure to sway my hips in that seductive yet non hoe-ish way. "ok well my name is jewlie i love playing soccer and the best part about today was meating that great guy right up there" i smiled pointing him out. With that the bell rang dismissing us to our next class i was disapointed to find out john had autoshop while i had teacher assisting. i showed him on his way though and compared schedules with him. I couldnt belive that we had the every class together except for this one. This was going to be a great year. Right before i left to take of toward my class he smiled and grabbed my hand. I took a quick breath and turned. "hey jewls .... do you mind if i call you that?" he said with an adorable smile "No problem at all" i said trying to keep my voice from stutering i dont know if he had relized it yet or not but he was still holding onto my hand.
"Well i was wondering if you'd like to go to the movies with me frieday" he said. I smiled inacently and said in a country twang " Now john are you asking me out on a date" i could tell by his face he was embaressed " Only if you want it to be" he shot back. Wow a guy who supprised me i liked it. I obviusly agreed and headed of to class.
The rest of that class draged for hours it seemed.
When i finnaly got to my next class i found John already waiting for me with an open seat next to him.
We went through the rest of the day smiling and flirting. I couldn't belive how funny he was. When the day ended i got on the bus and sat in the same seat i had in the morning.
" Well well well look who is smiling like the boy actually likes her" Carlie said.
" hmm jealusy is a horrible thing" i said smiling coldly
after that we rode in silence.
The rest of the week went the same id walk with John and we'd talk about each other and laugh.
When friday night had arrived i was jumping off the walls with excitement.
Jean called me as soon as I got home " hey so you'r going on a date tonight i hear" she said with caution.
"Yep with John he's so perfect i hope he asks me out." i said relizing how fast it was to say such a thing.
"He will he has it bad for you" jean said i could only smile my best friend always knew the perfect things to say to me.
We talked for another five minuets before i finnaly got off the phone with her.
I relized i was running late i only had a half hour before John was going to be here.
I took a shower blowdryed my hair and relized i only had five minuets left!!
I relized i would have to pick between doing my hair or getting dressed.
So i ran into my room and got dressed in a pair of short jeans that hugged my hips but not to tightly and they wernt daisy duke short either. I then picked out a short sleave shirt that fit me perfectly it was a beutiful blue hard to explain the color. Just as i got my hair up in a ponytail i heard the doorbell ring.
I grabbed my purse before apling makeup enough to cover up flaws but not enough to look obviuse.
I raced down the stairs in my converse (never went anywere witout them). I opend the door and smiled there he was wearing hollister jeans and a flanal shirt. I said a quick goodbye to my parents and headed out the door. He had his licence because he started school late. So as he brought me to his truck i felt excitment all through me.
We hoped in the truck and headed out. I was suprised as he put on his seatbelts to many guys didnt do that because they were afraid of how it made them look.
On the way there we talked about each other. When we got to town i felt panick rush through me as he drove right past the movie theature. "uhm John i know you're knew and all but the movie theater is the brightest building in town" i said as my voice shook a little. He sudenly relized why i was so afraid " o gosh no jewls im not gunna kidnap you or anything like that i just wanted to take you somewere private but if your afraid i can turn back". Poor boy looked so embaressed. "No thats fine we can go i rather go somewere quiter anyway." i said
I know most of you would have been jumping out of that car right then and there but i felt safe with him. He had this thing about him that made me just wanna wrap myself up in his arms and.............. whoa were had that come from. I mentally shook myself. By the time i looked up again we were on a dirt road waay out of town no one used it anymore. He stopped halfway down the road and shut of the truck and hopped out.
"uhm hey John what are we doing." i said kinda worried
"Come back here and you'll see" he said
I acwardly climbed out of the truck to see him sitting in the tailgate part of his truck.
"Come on jewls im not going to hurt you." he said mocking me
I hoped up and sat a few feet away from him.
We sat this way for hours it must have been when he finnaly turned to me and said " Look i dont ussualy do this but there's something about you, wll you be my girlfriend."
