_______Pucca's point of view

It was a day like any other in Sooga Village. Streets were humming with the leisure activities of a quiet village with happy and filled individuals. Familiar faces and afternoon farewells lingered in the shops as everyone was finishing their lunch of noodles from the Goh-Rong and heading back to what they were doing previously that day.

The lovely Pucca was currently working her shift as she did almost every lunchtime.
Efficiently going from table to table either cleaning up after guest or delivering last bowls of steaming noodles, which Pucca did so with a small smile.

Even if the routine was normal, she surprisingly was always tired after the lunch-rush. Who could blame her when you had the whole population of Sooga plus some to feed? And surprisingly today was extra special as more tourists came in, all eager to try the famed noodles.

Her dark eyes blinked slowly and her knees felt numb after dropping another bowl off noodles off to a customer. The customer was in fact Santa who gave her a jolly laugh and offered her a candy cane which she took with a toothy smile. She loved the flavor mint.

"Hohoho Pucca, thanks for the noodles."

Said the jolly man. Dipping her head respectfully she thumped a thumb to her chest with her fingers moving, signing the word,

'No problem'

Then Pucca was turning on her heel to inspect the dining area. It was only Santa left and all the dishes had been collected. Glancing to her right she noticed food bits still left on a table and went to the back to fetch an unsoiled rag.

Entering the kitchen she saw two of her uncles cleaning up and preparing for dinner too come. It was Uncle Dumpling and Linguini who were currently having a conversation as they sharpened knives and didn't seem to notice as Pucca walked in.

Pucca did however overhear something about a cake that got her wondering why. It wasn't a birthday coming up, or was it? It could be a celebration of some kind but she couldn't remember.

Feeling tired still, she opted too just ignoring it for now. If it was something important it would find her eventually.

Picking up a fresh rag near Dada, who was currently grumbling and sighing about breaking a favored plate, and began to walk out until she bumped into her other uncle. Uncle Ho chuckled and smiled fondly at his niece. His eye glanced to the top of her head were a few hours ago had been two buns but now a mess top-knot much like his own met his gaze.

"You look good in a single bun."

Uncle Ho remarked with a silly grin making Pucca grin back and sheepishly scratch the back of her head. Every time she got tired and changed her hairstyle he would lightly tease her about it and compare it to his own top-knot.

Before she can roll her eyes and brush it off, her uncle taps her shoulder and smiles warmly.

"We can handle it from here Pucca, go ahead and see your friends."

Pucca furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and looked at the clock. It was barely the end of the day, she can't just leave now. He didn't turn to look at all but chuckled.

"As I said before, go. Don't make me repeat myself a third-time missy."

Ho smiled then pinched her nose affectionately. Pucca rolled her eyes and gave him a smile in return before walking off to finish the table she was working on.

Her uncles were always expectant of her hard work and as long as she could remember they always implored her to work hard. But even with all of their expectations it seemed they had a rather soft spot for their girly niece and would let her off early occasionally.

Pucca sighs softly with a goofy roll of her eyes. She was definitely spoiled.

Soon Pucca was outside walking down the graveled path on her way to Garu's house. Even tired she felt rather energized at the prospect of seeing friends. What was the harm in dropping by now anyway? Pucca shrugged and smiled.

_________Garu's point of view

"Ching that's not fair! That chicken keeps getting in the way!"

"Abyo I won fair and square! Wan had nothing to do with it!"

Abyo at the moment was having a shouting match with Ching after being beaten once again. Well, if Garu was counting it would be five wins for the girl and three for his best friend.

Garu snickered as he watched Ching's hen, Wan give Abyo an annoyed cluck.

"Stupid chicken."

Abyo sneered then proceeded to stick his tough out at the flurry of fathers. Ching snorted right back and crossed her arms whispering under her breath of what sounded like an 'idiot'.

Garu rolled his eyes as he watched the two bicker. The number of times they would fight like this never cease to amaze him.

The bickering reminded him of Pucca.
We'll, it reminded him of her bullheadedness actually. If she wanted or believed in something it would always end with some argument.

Garu let out a breathe of slight laughter when be thought of when she would make Tobe and his men cower if they got in her way. He actually sometimes felt sorry for those that got in her way.

Garu rubbed his neck awkwardly as he leaned against the porch of his house. Strange how he could find himself thinking about her at random times like this.

It was common for the boy ninja to think about Pucca from time to time. She had way too big of a personality to think about and wonder through.

Garu was still struggling on his own identity and what his personality was like yet he thought of her often.

Maybe he thought of her to distract himself. Maybe he thought of her because she had thrust herself into his personal bubble way to often. Maybe he was curious.

What ever many questions he had they where always removed from his mind before he could ponder them more fully. A tight and weary heart closing off from the world.
His fears, ambitions, and guilts clung to close for him to truly be alone in his mind.

His black eyes, no longer clouded by thought now glanced back to Abyo and Ching.
