We're now in a mini-canteen and my friends are teasing me about what happened earlier.
Mariel made Thirdy and I shook hands and they're kilig daw. Plus they made us sit beside each other when we were having our lunch.
Yes, his name is Thirdy Ravena. At first, I thought he was the Ravena guy Mariel has a crush on. Hindi pala.
"Bea may spark ba?" Ann asked me teasingly.
I didn't answer her question kasi kapag sasabihin kong wala, they will not believe me naman. So what's the point diba?
"Bakit hindi ka makasagot?" Mia asked.
"Okay fine I will answer na. WALA po akong na feel na sparks."
"Weh?? As in capital W-A-L-A??!!" Mariel asked.
Wala ba talaga? Or wala na lang?
"I don't know. Hindi naman ako kinilig."
As much as I don't want to lie, I have to. I know my friends so much. Kapag sinabi kong kinilig ako, they will not stop teasing me kay Thirdy. Nakakahiya kaya yun. I don't want Thirdy to think na hinahayaan ko lang sila.
"Okay. Sabi mo ehh." and they surrendered. Finally!
We didn't do much this afternoon. Tomorrow pa yung activities eh and puro lectures lang daw today. And because feeling namin na flat na pwet namin kakaupo, lumabas kami ng hall.
"Bea!! Ms. Gomez is looking for you. Ikaw daw contestant for History Quiz bukas." Rocio said.
"Huh?? Why me?!?" I asked.
"And why not? You're the first honor kaya." Ann said.
"Hala." I said as a started to panick.
"Chill ka lang Bei, kaya mo yan!" Mia said.
"But--"
"Go Bea! Fighting!!" they said in chorus.
Hindi na ako nakipag talo, iniwan ko nalang sila dun. Pupunta nalang ako kay Ms. Gomez kasi may ibibigay daw siya sakin na reviewer. Yung mga possible questions na pwedeng itanong bukas.
While I'm on my way, I saw Thirdy. He's with his friends Isaac, Anton, and Tyler.
Alam nyo ba yung feeling na naghihintay ka tapos nung nakita mong papalapit na siya,
na excite ka, akala mo titigil siya yun pala siya’y dadaan lang.
I started walking nalang ulit when he grabbed my hand.
"Bea."
A big smile formed on my face. I really like it when he says my name.
