For the past week all of us had been in LA. Niall and Zayn would be leaving tomorrow and Louis would leave next week. This would leave me and Liam to stay in LA , and the rest would join us back in LA after they finished up stuff in England right in time for the tour to start.

On the way to the office I couldn't help but wonder what Paul had to tell me. It seemed important since he practically hung up on me. But with management you have to be ready for anything, ready to deal with whatever they have to throw at you. One Direction has been together for almost 4 years, and it has gone by so fast. I feel like just yesterday i was standing on that X-Factor stage. I have left my family, I have left everything back home. This new life was a roller coaster, a fun one at that, but sometimes it got to be too much.

I pulled into the parking lot, noticing that everyone elses cars where already parked outside the building. I had a thing for being late. I walked into the building and went straight to the conference room. As expected everyone was already seating around the table, one seat empty for me.

"Harry, you're late. Again." Paul said with a disappointed look.

"Im sorry... it won't happen again." I said as i took my seat next to Niall.

"Now, boys .." Paul started. "As you know the tour will be starting in just a few weeks. We talked with the team and security and decided to try something new for the tour" I couldn't help but wonder what he could be talking about.

"We have decided to invole the American fans more, in the show." He continued. How could we involve the fans more? We were already answering their video questons so what else could he be talking about?

"What do you mean invole the fans more? Liam spoke up.

"At each show we will pick one girl to come up on stage." The room went silent as soon as Paul finished his sentence. "When this girl gets up on stage you will make her feel special, serenade her, do what ever you have to do. It shouldn't be to hard, we pick the girl and you make her happy. Thats it."

"Why can't we pick the girl?" I spoke up. As soon as I asked my question all eyes were on me.

"Har-" Paul starte to say but I quickly cut him off.

"This is our concert, we should be able to pick the girl. After all we will have to be the ones to serenade her." I said sternly.

"He does have a point." Niall said supportively. I was glad someone agreed with me.

The silence continued as Paul and the rest of the people looked at eachother.

"I want to be the one the pick the girl. End of story" I said with confidence. After many whispers I finally got the answer I wanted to hear.

"Okay. Deal, but if this backfires we will stop. Okay?" Paul said looking at me.

"Okay." I said. And the meeting ended.

....

I decided to hang out with Niall for a little bit before he left tomorrow.

We arrived at my house and made our way to the living room.

Niall planted himself on the couch before speaking up, "So what do you think about this whole serenading thing?" He said looking at me.

"I think it will be fun, knowing we can pick the girl." I was glad we could pick who it was. I didn't want to end up singining to a crazed fan who would scream her head off, or one that would just cry the whole time. I wanted someone who appealed to me, someone that I knew would enjoy every second of it.

I hadn't realized I had been staring into space until I heard Niall, "Hey, earth to Harry?" He spoke loudly. As I got out of my deep gaze he spoke up again.
