Awake

You carry the boy bridal style and brought him to your house. You healed the boy with your powers and never look away from him. You keep looking at the unconscious boy thinking 'is this boy really like me. He just looks like a weak 10 year old boy to me'

You're just looking at him when he slowly open his eyes

      "Hey, you're awake" you greeted him
       "W-where a..am I?" He silently said
      
Ame's POV
    I wake up to find an unfamiliar ceiling above me..I look to my side to see a girl who looks like an 18 years old with a (h/l), (h/c) hair and a (s/c) skin and also a (e/c) orbs. I asked her where am I
          "Oh, you are in my house" she said bluntly
          "I brought you here when you were still unconscious. What did that man do to you anyway?" She continued
          
I explained to her what I remember

Flashback (this is also ame's POV)
      When I was exploring the forest, I saw a hunter a few meters away. I went to hide in the bushes when he caught me off guard. I tried to run when he shot my left leg. I also tried to bite his hands that were holding me but he shot me again, this time he shot my right shoulder

            "That's when everything turns black and it's like I'm in the middle of darkness" I continued
             "Oh, that explained it. By the way, what's your name and how old are you? I'm just curious" She asked
         "I am Ame and I am 10 years old. What's yours?"
       
Y/N POV
'Damn, why does he have to ask'
       "My name is (y/n) and I am....uh...I...my age is....uh...." I hesitated. 'I can't tell him my real age because he'll freak out. This is one of the consequences in being the guardian of the forest. Once you reach the age 18, you will stop aging and you will remain like that for the rest of your life. Guardians also don't die until someone kill them but that's literally impossible because they are immortal unless they let you kill them. That's the only way you can kill a guardian
         "I am 18 years old" I finally said it
I want to ask him more especially if he really is my kind but I know that he's tired so I fight my urge to question and luckily, I won
          "You should rest now" I said and he just nodded so I got out of the room and let him rest

Okay so that explains why you didn't die after hundred of years..you are now 118 years old
