Abel

"Thanks, Cash. I needed this," I said drinking my coffee as we rolled through New York. "No problem, Abe," Cash said scrolling through his phone. "Why do we gotta go to this shit so early?" Hawk asked from the backseat. "Because we gotta find dancers for the tour," Cash responded in a 'duh' tone. "Nigga, I know that. I wanna know why we doing this shit so early," Hawk responded. "Cause I need to make sure I'm picking the right girls and it'll be a lot of them. Clarissa said it's over a hundred girls auditioning," I said rubbing my eyes. It was eight in the morning and considering I didn't sleep until close to five in the morning, I was beyond tired. "Damn, a hundred girls. That's a lot to be narrowed down to three," Lamar stated but I shrugged. "If I'm gonna have dancers they better be fucking perfect in every way," I told the crew.

"But we've been at this shit for like two months and we've been all around North America. Why can't we just look on Instagram or YouTube for some dancing bitches?" Hawk questioned making me roll my eyes. "How many times do I gotta tell yo' bird ass that I'm not doing that shit. Most of them girls looking for fame they not trying to actually dance. Like that Hannah Montana looking bitch from Sweden. She was more interested into that cheap ass Givenchy bag and who are jeweler was than dancing. And she couldn't even dance, it was nothing but hair flips and rubbing. It was like a bad ass lap dance," I said making everyone laugh. "My bad but you kept saying she had the look you were looking for so why not give it a shot?" Hawk questioned. "Yeah she had the look but not the skills so she wasn't what I'm looking for. What I'm looking for is a whole package," I told him. "You got a point," Hawk said as we came to a stop.

I looked out the window to see a line of women waiting outside the dance studio we had rented for the day. Some were staring but luckily the windows were tinted. Though it was a lot of girls, I was only doing this for one day so I knew these girls were committed and so they knew this was the only opportunity they had to become my dancers. I didn't need any bullshit or slacking. "Let's go around back," Freddy told the driver. He nodded and proceeded to drive the black SUV around the corner to the back entrance. My phone rang making me look at it. Seeing who it was, I rolled my eyes and ignored the ringing. Once we were parked and close to the door, the crew and I got out the SUV and walked into the back entrance of the dance studio. When we walked in there were about ten people walking around the large studio. This wasn't my first time doing this so I already knew how it would go but the large dance studio had me just staring around the room.

"There's Clarissa," Lamar said. I looked to see the blonde haired woman who would be my choreographer and also in charge of the dancers, Clarissa Brinks. She was a very, very well known dancer and choreographer. Though I met her through my now ex, I refused to let the talented woman not help me with this process. "Clarissa," I called. She stopped her conversation with another blonde then smiled when she saw me. "Hello, sweetheart," Clarissa said walking over to me. She gave me a kiss on each cheek then took a step back. "Are you ready for the day?" Clarissa asked me. "Yeah, walk me through all of it," I said not wanting to do small talk. "Okay so they're gonna set up a table for us to judge the girls-" "You, Lamar, and who else?" I cut in. "Peta Murgatroyd, from Dancing With The Stars. Peta, can you come here?" Clarissa yelled. The blonde she had been talking to rushed over with a smile. "Peta, this is Abel, Abel this is Peta," Clarissa introduced. "Hi, I love your music," Peta said as we shook hands. "Thank you, I love your dancing," I lied as if I watched the Dancing With The Stars. I had only seen one episode (I was forced) and I wasn't really interested so I barley watched. "This is one of my managers, Cash, my creative director, Lamar Taylor, my tour manager, Hawk, and my head of security, Freddy," I introduced. They all gave hello's and I looked to Clarissa to continue.
