Twenty one pilots just came off their hiatus, and I have already started saving money for a possible ticket that I might be holding in a week or two. My city was usually one of the first places they would perform, so I thought I'd better get ready. Even during their hiatus, I made sure I had at least one hundred dollars, and that I didn't spend it on unnecessary junk like I usually do. I went online to check how much the tickets were. "115 dollars." I said aloud. Good thing I had managed to save up 150. The tickets were close to selling out, so I went ahead and purchased it. My hands were shaking from the excitement that I would be going to a concert for the first time in my life, let alone a TØP one. There was an option to be entered in a raffle for a chance to go backstage and meet Tyler and Josh, which was 120 dollars. I decided to go ahead and purchase that option, even though I knew with my luck, that would never happen. With the couple weeks that passed until I got my regular ticket and my raffle ticket, I had never been more excited to see the mailman pull up to my house.

I sat on my bed scrolling through my YouTube feed, occasionally clicking on videos that looked somewhat interesting. Most of them were clickbait. Suddenly, I heard a familiar "ding" coming from my doorbell. I literally fell out of my bed and ran to the door, almost falling again, due to my fuzzy socks. I flung open the door, and the mailman jumped back in surprise. I apologized, picked up the yellow orange package, and sprinted back to my bedroom. I almost ripped the package open, but then I remembered how fragile the tickets could be, and had to take a few deep breaths to calm down. After I was done, I carefully started opening the package I had waited so very anxiously for. I pulled out a ticket and squealed with excitement. Then, I shook the package and out came a red ticket, but it was the kind you would get at a carnival. It read "TWENTY ONE PILOTS V.I.P RAFFLE TICKET" By this time, I was smiling like and idiot. I put the fragile pieces of paper back in the package. Then, I decided to keep that package in my bedside drawer. I thought to myself "If I lose this, I will be dun." 😏
