"Y/N?" Dipper's eyes widened when he realized I was suddenly present in the room. Mabel ignored Dipper's comment and came running to me to give me a hug. "You're okay!" She exclaimed, squeezing tighter.
"Y-yeah." I said, but was only able to be heard by close ears, the word barely escaped my lips. I hugged her back. A second after Dipper came and gave me a squeeze as well. I noticed that Wendy and Soos was with them as well... hugs all around.
But I also noticed Ford was missing.
That's when I clicked.
Like a lightswitch, my brain flipped from nervousness to anger. I dug my nails into the palm of my hand, and spoke, "We need to stop him."
It seemed as if the young twins expected I'd say this, as their facial expressions barely changed.
I wasn't going to let someone just destroy everything and everyone I care about. I'm not letting this just evaporate from existence.
"I need to tell you guys something." I said, not only to Dipper and Mabel, but all of those present in the room, the survivors. "I have a plan, and I can stop him, but I need your help."
And with that, I revlealed my secret.
Many were terrified, questioning if my appearance was what I really looked like. I could be a lie to them. I create lies, I understand why they'd think this.
I scare myself sometimes too.
Our plan was simple, yet complex enough that the enemy wouldn't know what they were up against. It was risky enough to get someone killed, which wasn't spoken when we were discussing the plan, but I could feel it glittering through our minds.
We knew what we were up against.
Bill doesn't.
We had a chance at the win, and that's all the motivation we needed to take back the Falls. It felt like death was at my door as I locked my eyes on the Fearamid, his castle, as I stood my ground in the field below.
This was it.
After all these centuries.
After I thought I'd never see him again.
Ash carried the gentle breeze like snow. The heat was overwhelming, causing beads of sweat to form on my forehead. But then again, it could be due to the staggering amount of stress as well. The chaotic mess surrounding me echoed through my ears, breathing it's hot breath against my flesh, as if saying, "Give up. Turn back."
Before I was able to change my own mind, I called his name.
