Walking in to work today was so depressing like i didn't want to speak to nobody i just wanted to do my job and get the day over with.
All i was thinking about was what happened last night and couldn't get the thought out my head. I just knew i should've never went to that party and i still went anyway and the incident happened and i don't know what the guy did to me and couldn't remember anything.
Today one of my patients is getting married and i needed to hold it together making sure her hair and makeup looked great and beautiful.
"Congrats" i said as she came and sat down in a chair in front of me.
"Aww thank you Des" she said.
"I'm gonna make you slay so just sit back and relax" i said smiling as i grabbed all the items that i needed to do her hair.
Doing her hair took me a whole hour but i needed to make sure she looked amazing for her big day. I did her makeup which took me a good 45 minutes but the finished product was great and i was proud of myself.
"Now i'm gonna hand you a mirror to see yourself so close your eyes" i said smiling while grabbing a mirror as she closed her eyes.
"Oh my gosh i can't wait to see myself" she said.
"Alright open your eyes" i said handing her the mirror and when she saw herself she had her mouth wide open amazed at how beautiful she looked.

"Oh my gosh Desiree thank you" she said examining her hair and everything.
"No problem..I had to make sure that i slay you for your big day" i said.
"Oh my gosh you are so talented" she said.
"Thank you" i said.
She got up from the chair and gave me a big hug and i smiled. "Thank you for slaying me" she said.
I laughed. "You welcome" i said.
Seeing her smile made my day because i was just having a bad day and she made me feel proud of myself and happy but that still didn't erase the sadness inside of me.
"Hey Des do you have a moment?" my partner Jenna asked.
"Yeah what's up?" I said setting up my other items for my next patient.
"Ughh... I just wanted to know if you are doing okay cause you seem very sad today and very depressed.. Are you okay?" She questioned.
"Yeah i'm doing fine i'm just very tired.. I was up all night last night" i said lying.
"Oh okay i was just wondering cause i've never seen you like this, every time to come here you always have a smile on your face so i was a little concerned" she said.
"No i'm okay Jenna" i said.
"Okay giirl" she said giving me a hug and i did a small smile.
