Your P.O.V
It was last period. I started to feel butterflies in my stomach. Today was the day of the dance. I couldn't stop thinking about it I was just so nervous. "Hey are you okay?" Y/F/N tapping my shoulder. "It's just the dance like what if I embarrass my self I mean I am an embarrassing person" I said quickly. "Well I'm nervous to I'm going with jack" she chuckled. "Hey but you know your going to look great tonight and you won't embarrass yourself" Y/F/N said making me feel a little better.
RING!!
The bell rang. I gathered all my stuff and walked out with Y/F/N. "So what are you going to wear tonight" Y/F/N asked as we squeezed through people in the hall trying to get down stairs so we can leave. "I have no idea" I said starting to freak out. "Well I will come over and we can get ready together" she said smiling.
"Yes let's do that" I said. We left the school and stopped at Y/F/N's so she could grab her dress. "Wow you already know what your going to wear" I said as she came running out with her dress. "Are you kidding me I have been waiting for this" she said laughing . We got to my house and got ready. I put on a (whatever dress you want). I walked into my room to see Y/F/N putting on some makeup. "Well how's this" I asked. "Holy shit you look so good" she said. "Thanks" I smiled. "Girls we are leaving in 10 minutes" my mom yelled. I started to get more and more nervous. I'm going to the dance with Wyatt Oleff. I mean he's perfection how am I going to impress a guy like that. I made myself even more nervous. I'm getting worked up over nothing I thought to myself.
~10 minutes later~
We got in the car and I'm not going to lie we looked really good. I started to get so nervous my hands were shaking. "Ok let's go" my mom said. We left the house and made our way to the school. On the way there me and Y/F/N just texted each other because we didn't want to talk about anything in front of my mom.
Y/N: omg I am so nervous
Y/F/N: same but we look good we are going to be fine.
"We are here" my mom said as she urged us out of the car. "Thanks by mom" I said closing to the door. The realization hit me that I was actually there.
Wyatts P.O.V
Me and Jack were waiting for the girls. "Man I'm so nervous" Jack said quickly. "Me too I mean I have liked Y/N for a long time" I said. On the other side of the gym I saw Y/N. She walked in with Y/F/N. Which I'm guessing Jack knew cause he couldn't stop staring. They looked great but Y/N looked the best. She was so beautiful it was like a dream. Jack grabbed my arm pulling me towards them. "Hey" Y/N said. "H-hey" I stuttered. She probably thought i was so stupid. "You look so beautiful" I said mentally smacking myself. "Thanks" she giggled. "You look very handsome" she said blushing a bit. I blushed a bit to. A slow song came on. Of course the most awkward moment. "Hey you wanna dance?" I asked. "Ya sure" she said taking my hand. We began to dance. I couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful she is. I mean I was so lucky to be here with her. I instantly started to smile. "What do I have something on my face?" She asked starting to look embarrassed. "No no it's uh.... you look so beautiful" I said quickly. "Thanks again" she said smiling. The song ended and we went to go get some treats. We were in the corner of the gym eating and talking as a group. I really wanted to be alone with her and I bet Jack wanted to be alone with Y/F/N but we were scared. Finally Jack and Y/F/N left. "Hey you wanna I don't know go walk around the halls these songs kind of suck" I asked nervously. "Ya and they do kind of suck" she said laughing.
Your P.O.V
We walked around talking and looking at all the pictures on the wall. He was cute it was hard for me to not stare at him. "Ok who is the worst teacher" he asked laughing. "Hm probably Mrs. Byers" I said laughing. "Mine would be Mr.Kendall" he replied. "Oh ya he's not so great either" I said. "Hey I need to tell you something" he said stopping me and taking both of my hands in his. "Now this might ruin our friendship but I need to tell you this so bad" he said looking at me. "Ok.." I said. "Well we have been friends for a long time and I have always liked you I mean the first time I saw you and now when you walked into the gym you were the most perfect person in there. The point is I like you and I just needed to tell you even if you don't like me back" Wyatt said looking down at his feet. "Hey I like you to for a long time I have" I said smiling. He pulled me in for a kiss and then a hug. What felt like minutes was only a few seconds. We let go of each other kind of just starting at each other. "Well we probably should get back" he said nervously laughing a little bit. "Ya we should" I said.
