"No, please don't carry me! I don't want to be seen like this--."
"Nonsense!" Pennywise interjects. "You are injured. You've demonstrated a few times that it is arduous for you to even walk." He then nods to your swollen right ankle and adds, "I'll get you home much quicker this way."
He crouches down and with tender-like care places one arm behind your back and the other under your knees. Effortlessly, he hoists you up without any sign of difficulty. He turns and takes a step in the direction you were headed before you were stopped by the vagrant.
"Wait," You warily look over his shoulder to see the vagrant's bloody remains and notice they are gone. You open to your mouth to speak again, but Pennywise already knows what is on your mind.
"Worry not about him, mi luna. He will end up being just another face on a milk cartoon." Pennywise continues to walk with you in his arms. Your body is tense and taut like a bow string.
"Please, put me down! I think I can make it home on my own." You press a hand to his chest to deter him from carrying you further.
"What vexes you now, little one?" Pennywise doesn't glance down at you but continues to walk at a steady pace with you bobbing in his arms.
"I'm too heavy for you to carry that long. Please, set me down. I'll lean on you," you implore at him.
"Too heavy?" He gives his melodious chuckle and shakes his head.
"Yes. Aren't I?"
"Are you implying that you are too heavy, because you are trying to connote that you are too voluptuous?" He stops walking and sighs.
"So what if I am?"
"Well, desist. Immediately! You are judging yourself based on what your world has ingrained as standards of beauty. I see the beauty of your soul, and I say you are splendid beyond words." He looks down at you and gives you a rather devilish smile. "Shall I demonstrate how light you are to me? I can fling you into the air as if you were a mere rag doll. He elevates you up into the air a few inches.
Not willing to tempt him further, you wrap your arms around his neck to keep from trying to exhibit his strength further. He laughs triumphantly and continues walking towards your home. After a couple minutes you lower your hands and decide that while he could full and well toss you into the air, he wouldn't harm you. Then you remembered how sore your ass was from him spanking you the previous night.
"I'm still afraid of you," you admit. You glance away from his face and look ahead.
"Then you are smart, little moon."
"Can I ask you something?" You lie your head against his neck and suddenly feel exhaustion from the lack of sleep creep into your aching body.
"Always."
"Why did you hurt me?"
Pennywise stops walking and looks down at you again, his expression stern. "Why did you try to make me jealous by running your hand over that dancer's ass?"
"I--I don't have a good answer to that; but you really hurt me." You look up, returning his gaze.
"And part of you liked it. You liked feeling my hands on you, didn't you?" His green eyes study you intently.
You don't answer him, but he sees you biting your bottom lip nonchalantly.
"Oh, come now. Tell the truth and shame the devil."
"I think you could very well be the devil."
He tosses his head to the side and snickers, and he pats your back marginally with his hand. "Why, that is the most astute compliment I've ever received! I'm certainly no angel, nor have I claimed to be."
"That was apparent from the moment I laid eyes on you in the coffee shop." You peel your eyes away and stare at the ground, flustered.
"Which time?" he questions.
"Which time? Beth really was telling the truth about me spilling coffee on your jacket which I assume happened yesterday. So, not only have you fucked with me, but you fucked with her to get to me. You made her forget that she saw you."
