"Im sorry I can't live like this anymore."She gasped at his statement. At how cold he spoke to her. Tears threatened to fall. With a trembling voice she asked,"Why?"He looked down, afraid to meet her eyes. Her once pure beautiful eyes that are now filled with pain. The eyes he fell in love with no longer pure. He can't bear to see her like that. It pains him. He's physically hurt but it pains him even more seeing her in this state.He ignored her question. Stuttering, he said "P-Promise me something first."He's never been ready for this. He never wanted to do this. He never imagined this day coming. But now that's its here its difficult for him to cope. He wasn't ready. But then again...who is? "Anything."She replied desperately seeking for his answer. He trembled in fear,in pain. He balled his fists tight putting his hands in his jacket's pocket.The darkness prevented her from seeing his facial expression. He took his time to find the courage. With a heavy heart, breathing shakingly, he looked up at her as he gently whispered to her,"Promise me you'll always be happy like the sweet angel you are. That you will always smile with sincerity, laugh with joyfulness, be your heavenly warm self, Illuminate everyone everyday, bring light to the darkness, but most importantly...never stop loving. Keep loving no matter what."He was at the verge of breaking into tears again. Confusingly she asked,"Why would you ask me to promise such a thing?"He looked down again as a tear slipped down."Because what I'm about to say to you may cause you great pain."
