I woke up to my mom yelling that I should wake up or I'll be late for school.I did stay in bed for 5 minutes but I eventually got up did my everyday routine.Shower-brush-teeth-change-hair-done.Going downstairs were my parents.Mom cooking,Dad sitting on the dinner table talking to mom.
After greeting them both I sat with dad,playing games on my phone.
When breakfast was ready we all ate in silence which was awkward."So"My mom begins."Last night I heard you scream".I dropped my fork and widened my eyes.I looked up to see both of my parents staring."Y/N...what happened this time?"My Dad asked.Well its no secret that this isn't the first time I scream in the middle of the night.If I tell them I had a nightmare,they will start to overreact and take me somewhere and from there..I don't even want to say what they will do to me.
Im not allowed to have nightmares.Why?Because im an Angel and Angels aren't supposed to have nightmares.So I do what I always do..Lie."Oh I fell off the bed"I say to them and they both look at me before nodding and continue to eat."Be careful next time"My mom said.I just replied with an"Okay"before finishing my breakfast.After breakfast I dismissed myself from them,got my things and left for school,ready to start the day.
