AFTER THE STORM {{Tododeku}}

    His leg ached from the battle he just endured, his index finger throb slowly turning a purple colour signalling that he'd broken his finger, from the attack he'd done that took out a villain. Even though his entirety was exhausted he fought through it slugging Todoroki's arm over his shoulders holding his wrist to keep him attached, slowly he managed to get his badly injured friend to his feet while the threat of unconsciousness lured in Todoroki. Hurriedly he made his way back to the camp grounds, the teachers had managed to defeat the villains and there was help on the way along with police. The students were all returned and panicked over when they saw Midoriya carrying what looked like a dead Todoroki both their clothing was covered in blood, Izuku had no wounds, the blood was Todoroki's. Thats when Izuku fell giving into the weakness, the two laid on the cold dirt ground unconscious while the students yelled for teachers aid.

Earlier that week

   "Shouto, you're here early!" Ochako waved to Todoroki who took an earbud out raising his eyebrow to signal he didn't hear he. She pouted letting out a sigh.

"You're here early" she spoke repeating herself, he nodded giving a simple reply

"Figured I'd read and wait"

"Oh," Todoroki walked over sitting on the fountains ledge beside her, he then pulled out his book completely taking his earbuds out. For a while Ochako stayed silent until boredom sunk into the depths of her mind and she couldn't handle the quiet.

"What're you reading" her voice hinting of curiosity but was coated in boredom that her face clearly showed. He showed her the cover but continued to read which left her in the quiet bored state she'd just tried to escape.

Today was the day of the the class weekend camping trip, Ochako hadn't known what time to be there so she showed up as early as possible, which happened to leave her waiting for three hours, having the company of Todoroki for an hour then the rest of class 1-A slowly filled in. Todoroki kept silent to his book only speaking to Izuku when he arrived sitting next to him. When Eraserhead appeared they all started to file into the bus, Izuku ended up getting on last which left him to either sit with Eraserhead, Todoroki, or Kachaan but he knew that Kirishima was late and would want to sit with Kachaan, and besides he wasn't exactly thrilled of the idea of speading a two hour bus ride with Kachaan.

   A shadow casted over the pages on Todoroki's book causing him to look up to meet lively green eyes.

"Ah-Todoroki, c-can I sit with you?"
Todoroki's intimidating glance always made Izuku feel nervous which often led to stumble on his words.

"Sure"
Todoroki grabbed his small bag putting it under his seat, Izuku sat his rather large than usual yellow bag on his lap. Izuku caught Todoroki eyeing the bag his eyebrows furrowed,

"I packed everything I could think of, snack, sunscreen, extra clothing, weights, hiking shoe-"

"It's only a three day trip...do you really need all that?"
There wasn't sass in his tone but pure curiosity almost as if he was worried he under-packed.

"Ah-I-I just never been camping so my mother packed my bag"
A pink blush coated under his freckled cheeks which left a smile spreading over Todoroki's lips but Izuku didn't get long of a chance to observe, an embarrass Todoroki turned to look out the window, faintly noticeable steam left his body while his cheeks were a deep red.

"Todoroki, your burning up, are you alright ?"
Izuku asked with concern because he could feel the heat radiating off him

"Shouto?"
He tried again to get his attention this time it worked, Todoroki's head spun around to look at Izuku

"Ah-"
His shocked eyes calmed once met with Izuku's glowing green orbs
"that surprised me, outside of my home I don't get called that much..."

"hm? But it's your hero name"
Turning back to the window he used his arm and hand to hold his head up,

"Yah..it's not permanent"
With Todoroki's father being the number two hero it was a lot of pressure on his shoulder to be great, to surpass him.

"Shut up you fucking dummy!!! I'll kill you!!"
Kirishima's laughed echoed through the bus louder than Bakugou's yelling.

  An hour into the bus ride Todoroki started to doze off and at a slight turn of the bus his head fell onto Midoriya's shoulder but he didn't move because he was sound asleep and Izuku didn't bother moving him. He himself eventually fell asleep his head resting on Todoroki's. Ochako took a picture showing the girls who all giggled at their innocence. The laughter caused them to wake up. They were shown the photo and looked at each other blushing then quickly turned away embarrassed while the girls once again giggled.
