as tae makes his bed, he walks to the bathroom with a towel.
locking the door, he slides his back onto the wall and tears start to fall from his eyes.
tae silently sobs.

he takes off his clothes and steps into the shower.
turning it on, he scrubs his body.
crying as this action goes on.

finally done with showering, he goes to brush his teeth.
looking at himself at the mirror.

stupid big eyes. makes me look like a fucking baby.
nose, too sharp with an ugly mole.
dump lips that always look like a pout. making me look pathetic.
dark bags under my eyes.
collarbones not visible. obviously i'm fat.

all those statements going through his mind.
he used to get told that in his past.
slowly, he gets out of the shower with a towel around his waist.
he feels a little insecure since his arms are visible.

tae quickly changes into a long sleeved - but a little loose - white shirt and some flood level pants with some white adidas sneakers.
he steps out of his room and ruffles his hair a little.
walking down the stairs, he hears some chatter in the dining room and heads in that direction.

tae sees all his members have a wonderful time.
having breakfast and talking happily.

they don't need you.

you're just a fucking waste of space.

they're already happy without you.

tae shakes his head to get rid of the toxic thoughts and walks into the dining room.
the boys turn to tae and give him their biggest smile.

"morning Tae!" the boys say in unison.

tae giggles. "morning hyungs! morning ggukie!"

"have some breakfast tae." jin says and gives him a plate of pancakes.

stacked high, on top of each other.
soaked in sweet maple syrup.
with whipped cream sitting on top.

carbs.

sweet.

fatty.

weight gaining monster.

do not eat.

tae's mouth starts to water.

fat.

lose weight.

"i'm not that hungry hyung. i'm sorry." tae says softly.

the boys frown.

"it's okay tae. but don't say you'll be hungry later." jin warns in a playful manner.

tae giggles softly and nods.
the boys smile at his giggles.
yoongi smiles and internally thanking God since tae is seated beside him.

tae takes out his phone from his pocket but accidentally touches yoongi's arm.
tae blushes deep red.
the boys notice this and smirk at each other, only one thing going through their minds ; new couple alert.

"i-i'm sorry h-hyung." tae looks down to hide his blushing face.

yoongi chuckles. "It's fine taetae."

tae immediately looks up at yoongi.
flashbacks of his mom calling him 'taetae' start to go through his mind.
tears start to build up in his eyes.

the boys notice this and looks at tae in concern.

"tae? what's wrong?" yoongi asks feeling a little guilty.

tae shakes his head.

"e-excuse me." tae chokes out and runs to the nearest bathroom.

the boys look at each other in shock and confusion.

"what do you think is wrong?" namjoon asks.

the boys shrug.
yoongi walks to the bathroom and presses his ear against the door and hears faint sobbing.
he carefully twist the knob of the door, and thankfully, it wasn't locked.
he steps in.
tae gasps and quickly wipes his tears but they kept falling.

"w-what are you d-doing in here hyung?" tae whispers.

yoongi just kneels down and hugs tae.
tae freezes but soon melts into his warm hug.
tae cries into yoongi's chest.
yoongi soothingly rubs tae's back.

"what's wrong tae?"

"m-my mom u-used to call me t-that." tae sobs. "she's b-back at home in s-some trouble and i m-miss her b-badly. i'm so sorry for r-reacting like this hyung."

"shhh. no tae. don't be sorry. i understand that you'll miss her. i'm sorry for calling you that. remember, i'll always be here for you." yoongi whispers and kisses tae's forehead.

tae smiles but blushes madly from the kiss to his forehead.
he buries his face into yoongi neck.
yoongi grins at the behaviour of tae after the kiss.

* * * * *

at the dance studio, the boys didn't speak a word about the incident that happened at breakfast.
tae was very thankful for that.

the practice went really well.
the boys were all amazed by tae's dancing skills.
the all watch in awe as tae dance effortlessly and gracefully.

the way his hips rolled with the music.
the way his hands and legs with beautifully coordinated.
the fact that he was panting yet still looked gorgeous.
the boys were mesmerized, yet again.
impressed by his singing and dancing, what more could they want? :)

hoseok and jimin even taught tae some other steps and tae, being the fast learner he is, learnt it in minutes.

the boys were all pretty happy with their new member but still curious of his past.
as adorable and charismatic as he is, they also feel as some what of a mysterious aura always surrounding him. sadness, sorrow and pain clouding him.

yoongi, feeling pretty happy at the moment he had in the bathroom, was now laying on tae's thighs as his pillow.
he was enjoying it. :)
