As soon as Fudge had left, Harry ran to hug Sirius. "You are finally a free man!"

Sirius grinned. "It feels good to not have to be on the run anymore."

"Come on Sirius." Molly said turning to the black haired man. "Its time to get some food in you."

"Harry, Hermione, arent you coming back to the game?" Ron stuck his head inside.

The pair grinned at the redhead. "Maybe a little later. Sirius' name just got cleared!" Harry exclaimed.

Rons face turned from surprised to excited. "Really?!"

"Yes, it should be published in the Daily Prophet tomorrow." Hermione beamed.

The Weasleys plus Harry Hermione and Sirius, spent the rest of that night chatting away and celebrating Sirius being a free man.

Snape meanwhile was in his house moping. He was conflicted on what to do. He knew Fudge would be convinced of Blacks innocence. He felt as if he should go congragulate Potter and Black, but didnt want to intrude.

Snape knew happiness was one thing that was never meant for him. He always brought doom and gloom wherever he went. Snape sighed, he debated about telling Black that he was the one that convinced Fudge to hear Black out. But then, Potter would be suspicious.

No, Snape would stay where he is. Until a silver phinoex soared into the room with Albus's voice. "Come Severus, go celebrate with the Weasley family. If Harey and Sirius knew the truth, they'd be grateful."

Snape sighed again, grabbing his wand as he vanished on the spot.

Harry could not stop grinning tonight. Finally the truth was revealed. He was with Sirius and the Weasleys in the sitting room while Molly was cleaning the kitchen.

However, the mood was killed when Molly gasped saying, "hello Professor Snape, what can we do for you?"

Harry looked to Sirius as his face paled. Molly came into the sitting room. "Harry, Sirius, someone would like to talk to you."

The pair looked at each other puzzled. Harry was afraid that Snape would tell Sirius about the life he lived at the Dursleys. Even though he hated Snape, he knew that the man had really seen him as a person and not as the famous boy.

When Harry came into the kitchen, he saw Snape sitting at the counter looking uncertian.

"Professor Snape?" Harry asked timidly.

The dark man raised his head to look at the Potter boy. "Potter, congragulations are in order." Snape turned to Sirius. "Black I wanted you to know that it was me who told Fudge to listen to you. It was my idea to have the trial here than in the courtrooms. Im sorry that I didnt listen before."

"What made you change your mind?" Sirius asked crossing his arms.

"Dumbledore dragged me into viewing the memories Potter and Granger gave to Madam Bones. Pettigrew is one slippery man. So I worked with Amelia and Albus. But I dont want any recognition for this from either of you. For once, keep your mouth shut." Snape hissed.

Harry nodded as Snape turned to leave. "Wait, Sir."

Snape turned to look at the small boy in front of him. "Yes Potter?"

Harry hesitated glancing at Sirius.

Sirius left the room keeping his curiosity to himself, what did Harry not want him to hear?

"Thank you Sir." Harry said looking into Snapes black eyes.

"For what?" Snape asked looking bored. "Please be specific Potter, I dont have all day."

"For taking me away from my aunt and uncles. Did Dumbledore tell you to check in on me?" Harry asked curiously.

"No. I just had a feeling you needed some help. Have you told anyone about who took you away?" Snape demanded.

"No, if i did, no one would believe me. I can keep secrets Sir. If you dont want anyone to know, no one will." Harry stated.

"Thank you." Snape swept from the room disaplearing on the spot.

Harry sighed contemplating his potions professor. Why would Snape have a feeling about him? The very boy he loathes?

Harry came back in. "Harry?" Sirius asked.

Harry looked up to find Sirius staring at him. Sirius then gestured to follow him.

Harry felt nervous, was Sirius going to talk to him about the Dursleys? Sirius lead him to Rons attic room. "Sirius, is something wrong?"

Sirius sighed, "What happened this summer?"

Harry looked down at the floor. "Oh right."

"Please, talk to me. I can be here for you now. You dont have to do everything alone." Sirius begged.

"What do you want to know?" Harry mumbled.

"Why didnt you reply? I told Dumbledore to check in on you when you werent answering my letters." Sirius commented.

"You did?" Harry looked up at Sirius.

"Yes. I was worried. Tell me what happened."

Harry took a deep breath. "Petunia is very bitter. Did you know that?"

"I met her in passing and yes, I've noticed that." Sirius answered.
