I walked to the ledge. I was standing on the top of Knightsbridge at 2 AM. I went through my mental check list... Vynessa's note...check... Carter's note...check. "This is it. I'm done. I will finally be free." I thought. How had it come to this? Mark and I were perfectly fine and now I'm standing three steps from the edge. How could he have done this to me. I glanced at my stomach. I winced with rememberance from that night. I glanced at the many scars on my arms. "What will they think these are? From the fall? Ha." I thought. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore.
