early mornings brats and good music

When I woke the next morning, I dragged myself out of my bed and slumped into the bathroom. I pulled my braid out and let my extra-wavy hair fall down. I grabbed a towel from the bathroom closet.

I opened my suitcase and grabbed a blink 182 shirt, a red plaid flannel shirt to tie around my waist and my black skinny jeans. I stripped down out of my pajamas and turned the shower on. When it was running at the perfect temperature I stepped in.

After taking my very much needed shower and getting dressed I left my room and walked down to the kitchen. WITHOUT GETTING LOST MAY I ADD. I was pretty proud of myself.

At the kitchen counter I saw Luke sitting on one of the stools eating cereal. He gave me a closed-mouth smile because of the food in his mouth. Once he was done chewing he grabbed a different bowl that was also on the counter,

"think fast"

He threw the bowl at me, But did I catch it? Psh, of course not. I was Still feeling quite groggy from the jet lag and early morning so I just lazily stepped out of the way and let the bowl clatter to the ground. He shot me an unimpressed look and shook his head.

"That was pathetic," he cried "it was a tiny little toss! It's not like I chucked it at you!"

I picked the bowl up and rubbed it on my t-shirt wiping any dust or dirt that may had just attached itself to piece of plastic.

"We'll sor-ry, it's not like I'm made for catching bowls that are randomly thrown at me. " I replied bluntly.

He just glared at me while I awkwardly stood in the middle of the kitchen. I had no idea where any of the cereals or where the spoons were, so I was just kinda waiting for him to give me directions on where the materials to my breakfast were.

"Oh right the cereals are in that cabinet" he said while pointing at a cabinet left of the fridge. "And then the milk is in the fridge. "

"Duh" I added

"And the spoons and stuff are in that drawer." He pointed to a drawer that was under the microwave.

"Thanks" I wadded over to the cabinet he showed me.

"Oh!" He cried "You like blink! That's chill!" I spun around to face him.

"You like blink too? Sweet! It's not everyday you find someone who likes the same music as me!"

"Yeah! The other boys do too. What other bands do you like?"

"Ah dude there are so many! But I really like All Time Low, Sleeping With Sirens, ummm....... Oh! I also really like Pierce the Veil, We are the in Crowd and My chemical Romance!"

I was smiling very proudly, I get really happy over my bands.

"Dude you're like the female version of me and the other boys! I officially love you! He held his hand out for me, I slapped it enthusiastically.

Luke and I stepped off the bus after a very long ride, we were also like the only two on besides this one other kid. It was kind of awkward.

"Is it just you and that other kid on the bus everyday?" I asked incredulously

"Yeah but he's a pretty chill dude. Anyways here is Wandell High," He spread his arms out wide in front of the school. I looked up at the school and blinked twice to make sure I was seeing correctly.

"It's.....It's humongous! Why cant my school be this big?"

"Because Our school is better than yours. Duh." I spun around to see Michael. He winked at me, I stuck my tongue out back at him.

I saw Calum come up behind him and he slung his arm around Michael.

"What's up losers." He hesitated for a second before adding "and Hunter. "

Michael shrugged Calum's arm of his shoulder.

"Hey! You were a nice arm rest. What was that for?" He asked

"You just called me a looser, you shouldn't expect me to be nice to you after you called me a looser." Michael retorted.

I snorted but then immediately covered my nose and mouth with my hand. All the boys turned to look at me

"That was so cute!" Michael cried he grabbed me and started cuddling me. "I just want to hug you forever now!"

I tried to say something in return but when I tried to speak my words were muffled due to my head being shoved in his chest. Stupid height differences.

"Let her go!" Ashton cried. Oh, when did he get here? He tugged me out of Michael's grip and held me to his chest stroking my hair.

"Hey! she's like an innocent little puppy you can't treat her like that!" He yelled at Mike.

I was enjoying this. A lot. They both smelt really good. But my moment was soon interrupted by Luke. Thanks Luke.

"Ashton let her go, I need to take her to the office to get her timetable before the bell rings. Ashton pouted and reluctantly let me go. I internally sighed, thanks Luke. You really had to ruin that beautiful moment didn't you?

Luke and me walked away from the group and as we were walking in through the doors to the school, a girl with red hair, a skirt that was a bit too short and a shirt that was a bit too low ran right in front of him and stopped. He looked at me and rolled his eyes, I stared back at him in confusion.

"Lukey Baby I called you last night you didn't answer." She stuck her bottom lip out, and I guessed that she was probably trying to make herself look sad and cute. But she just looked constipated.

"Sorry Tiana I was busy." He sighed

"With what?" She scoffed "your stupid band?"

"Something like that." He sighed again.

She then looked at me, her "pout" immediately dropped and was replaced with a look of disgust. I winced.

"Who're you?" I opened my mouth to speak but Luke beat me.

" She's Hunter the new exchange student, the one living in my house. Now if you would please excuse us I need to take her to the office to get her timetable."

He turned around and yanked me with, when we were a couple feet away from Tiana she yelled out to me.

"Stay away from my Boo you cow!" I mooed back in response and Luke groaned.

"I'm not your boo Tiana!" I stared at him for a second before asking.

"Who was that?"

"Oh that? Or her? Sorry. That was Tiana Greenday. She's the cliche popular girl in every move." I laughed

"It sucks that such an amazing band has to be the last name of such a sucky person." He looked at me and smiled.

"You're weird Hunter Morgans. But I like that"
