Chapter Ten

{Harry's Point of View}

She kicked me out. I don't blame her. If I was her I would hate me too. That kiss though. For a second, I felt like I had my Paige back. I could feel it in her kiss that she wanted it too. But her mind got the better of her and she broke our kiss. I'm just going to have to work even harder to get her back. I will go to the ends of earth to get my best friend back. God she looked so beautiful just sitting there so of course I was going to lean in and kiss her. If only I knew I would have taken it too far. I will make it up to her though.

{Third Person Point of View}

Harry walked back to his car and drove away. Paige was on the other side of her front door waiting for him to be fully off her street. Once he was, she walked out and sat on her front steps with her head in her hands.

"What am I going to do?" She asked herself.

It all hit her and she began to sob. She really did miss her best friend. But letting him back in would mean getting hurt. But to find your true love you need to take risks. Along the way you will get hurt but your prince will be there to pick you up right? Isn't that what Harry is doing? Isn't he picking up the pieces he broke and trying to put them together?

'Yea he is,' she thought.

She got up and went in her house. Dexter, her dog, was sitting on the couch. She went upstairs to get ready for bed. Dexter jumped onto her bed and laid next to Paige. Just before falling asleep, she said,

"Love is about taking risks."

And with that she was asleep.
