Chapter 6 -birds

Nova's pov:

I woke up, it was peaceful no longer dark just trees, rivers birds lots of birds beautiful ones. All the things and places I've been all of them into a beautiful dimension, I think I'm on the Planet of light, a Planet of peace and hope but the thing is unless someone else is your 'dream' and on the planet with you, your alone in your world and with no escape it's like a beautiful hell.
I walked around going through memories happy ones like my birthday and my friends coming over but I could only see where I was in that moment, I could see what would happen if I changed something. Everything paused, the world began to fade, it got darker and darker until I woke up to Rylan screaming
"WAKE UP NOVA!"
I just grumbled and muffled "what time is it?"
"I don't know we came to find you and Vela no one believes your here and well I almost got killed and so did you, your sister is now being drained oh and did you know she's an alien?"
I thought to my self for a minute about what he just said most of it made sense but I didn't know Annora got into this mess , I always knew she was an alien she told me when I was ten she said I had powers but that might not be true but later that day I remember moving something just by looking at it no one believed me except Annora and of course Vela, but I didn't really think I could do anything else until now.

Rylan's Pov
I watched Nova fly into the air the world around her. Her eyes turned neon blue her hands light up. the ground started to shake crack by crack she was splitting the world in half but she stopped and realised what she was doing and started breaking rocks instead. it was amazing Annora said every human has a power if they choose to use it in the right situation, I just wish I knew when my time was...

"Nova that was incredible!" I said with a smile
She replied amazed, not sure what just happened
"Well! I didn't know I could do that"
I replied, "well neither did I !"

Nova's Pov

We walked around thinking of where the screeches would be and how we could defeat it, I mean it drives off fear but we can't stay emotionless all the time.
But first, we have to find my sister and Vela.
We set off on a mission to find them, after about an hour we reach something that looks like where a screeches would be, it was dark full of slime that thing left the smell was unbearable, I could just about see it circling around the area in two cages at the back were Vela and Annora fighting for their life in the simulation. I whispered to Rylan
"We need to get to them before it's too late, or what almost happened to me"
He replied in his husk voice
"I know but Nova now do we exactly get to there I mean it's slime it's poisonous, and that I've experienced first hand."
I simply said, " well I want to know that story once we're done with this mess what have we got our selves into?" It was getting late we needed somewhere safe to rest up but nowhere was that safe, after about half an hour of looking we found a smashed up house and one room that looked usable. It was grim the walls filled with dirt it smelled like someone had died and even worse there was only one sheltered part. Rylan said
"You know we could share the blanket I brought with me or would you rather freeze"
I thought oh how good he is at games and messing with my head, I couldn't refuse I knew he was right. So I walked up to him and snatched that blanket out his hands and slumped down onto the floor, gesturing him to come and sit. He had that awful smirk on his face. He sat down next to me and pulled the blanket over us, I felt safe I knew it he put his arms around me and hugged me, I could feel his smile by my neck, I let I happen, I felt so relaxed, and I enjoyed the moment, closed my eyes and smiled. He whispered something in my ear but I couldn't quite catch it. He was perfect and that's all I needed.

Rylan's Pov
I put my arms around her drawing her into a hug anything to get close to her, she was beautiful in so many ways, once she let it happen I just smiled, I think I felt her smile.
She was drifting off and I whispered
"I love you I have for a while now I just didn't know if you did."
I woke up to her facing me, I thought oh how beautiful she was and I wished I was at home to make an amazing breakfast.
I lifted her arm off my chest and I got up it was a beautiful world during the day green grass grew, but only in the sunlight rivers ran, flowers bloomed it was stunning I soon forget this wasn't paradise. A bluebird landed on my palm and stayed until I asked it to move. I took the opportunity as Nova was still asleep to go and shower or just use the river, I took off my jacket, and trousers and jumped into the river wearing nothing but a huge smile because it felt amazing to be clean. The water was warm the birds were singing, I laid back and took it all in. I heard Nova call my name a few times and appeared from the bushes she was rubbing her eye and said "well I didn't know this place was so beautiful"
I think soon after that she realised I was naked she said as sorry as possible "oh um well I don't think you'd be naked but you know"
I said almost with a half laugh
"Well didn't you want to join me?"
At this point, I think I knew her answer...
