Chapter 1.5 | An Explanation

 Are any of you confused? I might assume so, but if not, you have all rights to skip this little 'intervention' and move on to the next chapter. However, you may want to know a little backstory on why all these people are at this mansion in the first place. Let me explain. Tom Lauren and Violet Smith are to be married soon. Being part of the classification of "rich and careless people" they have hired multiple servants to host a pre-wedding party. Tom is a wealthy stockbroker and Violet comes from a family of European Heiresses. Naturally, they were a perfect match. But let us move on to Errol, because of course, he has been murdered. Errol was a stockbroker. He was one of the wealthiest people in town. He was the one you'd acknowledge on the street, and the one who would always stand out. But then the Depression arrived.

Poor Errol's life plummeted. He was too poor to get married, he was too poor to buy a decent shirt, and he was too poor to buy a loaf of bread. So how did he earn a living? Working with the goats. Well, that wasn't a hard question now was it. But the harder question is, why was he murdered?
