Ninth Heavenly Rebirth

   (This part is rather short because it's an introduction, but the other chapters will be longer. At my current rate, I should hopefully be posting one chapter per week, but this depends on reviews and length of chapters. Please feel free to leave constructive criticism and grammatical errors, which I hate.)

Every swift stroke of the pen was pure gold in the eyes of Wan Shen. He ran an inscription business, founding a small shop at the age of eleven and growing it to become a rich empire. A renowned business prodigy, Wan was an expert in the arts of moneymaking. The man now lived a rich and comfortable life, with no worries and very little responsibility. He had taught several bright children how to run the great business, and now had little to no work. As he went to his fine silk bed, he slipped on his velvet robe and jumped on, it seemingly being stuffed by clouds. The old man had very little strength left, and that slipped away with each passing minute. This was one of the very many reasons he did not notice the assassin cloaked in an outfit blacker than night in the corner. Movement wasn't even visible from the stealthy warrior; a sleek metal shuriken flew out, instantly landing lodged in the brain of the retired prodigy, gifting a swift death. The next thing Wan Shen knew, he was falling down a vortex of blinding light and chaos. His soul managed to escape the process of reincarnation with luck and will, will to live, will beyond that ever seen before.

His first life, Wan Shen was a business king, managing the economy and ruling it. His second life, a renowned teacher of a successful martial arts dojo, fluent and skilled in battle. His third life, a king of epic wisdom was born, nursing a dying kingdom back to health. His fourth life, a frail and unassuming scholar, knowing much and thinking more. His fifth life, an adventurer, seeing all that his world had to offer. His sixth life, a poor but ancient beggar, seeing into the hearts of men. His seventh life, a doctor, saving countless lives and offering wisdom beyond age. His eighth life, a legendary craftsman, creating artifacts that marked the starting point of many a hero's journey.

Now, he will combine all lives into one, using the great knowledge and memories he possesses. Witness the ninth life of a great warrior, a Conqueror of All. Witness the near infinite journey of Du Keishi.
