"Welcome to the 105th precinct, how may I help you?" the handsome officer asked, his intelligent eyes filled with concern. His brown skin made him look like a bronzed god. That and the fact that he was 6'1''.

Kim, who was only 5'2'', had to stand back and strain her neck just to see him properly. "Yeah, I need a place to hide from my fiancé. He's trying to-"

Her phone vibrated in her back pocket. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and felt a pang in her heart when Royals face popped up on the screen. "Hold on," she said to the officer, holding up a finger. "Hello?"

"Kim, you little-"

"Don't you dare call me out of my name. I've listened to enough of your crazy ass rambling and I'm through. I'm getting a restraining order. Now."

It was silent on the other end. After a few seconds Royal replied, "Of you tell the cops anything, I'll kill your mother. I'm standing right in front of her door right now."

Before she could reply, Kim heard her mothers voice say, "Hey Royal, how you and my baby doin'?"

"We're doing great," Royal said ainably as if he hadn't threatened the woman's life seconds ago.

"Fine, just stay away from my family." She said with silent tears rolling down her eyes.

"Get home. And when you do, call Chio and apologize. Then get yourself pretty; we're going out tonight. And one more thing."

"What you sick bastard? What else do you want from me? My soul?"

Royal snickered. "Kimmie, I already own that. You do need to know that The Prestigious knows everything. And they can see everything too. Especially how you're eyeing that officer."

The phone line went dead and she placed her phone back into her pocket. The officer stood there watching her, unable to make sense of the conversation he witnessed.

"Ma'am, do you want to stay here and-"

Kim shook her head. "I'm sorry for wasting your time. I have to go."

He grabbed Kim by the arm and turned her back around. "What happened? You wouldn't just come to a precinct for nothing. Tell me, is everything okay?"

Kim blinked twice, hoping he got the message. "Nothing is the matter. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to use the bathroom."

She snatched her arm out of his grip and made her way to the bathroom.

Twenty five year old Tymel Hodges was a firm believer in fate. Why else would such a beautiful walk through the doors of the 105th precinct with troubled eyes and a beautiful face. Listening to her phone conversation, he knew that she needed a strong shoulder to cry on. Day visits to the gym made him the perfect candidate.

"Do you mind telling me what's going on?" Tymel said through the vents connecting the men and women's bathroom.

"My ex-fiancé; he keeps telling me that I belong to some group called The Prestigious."

Tymel was in shock; Narcotics had been trying to get a lead on The Prestigious for almost twenty years now. They had a woman work for them once but the next day she was found dead in her safe safe house along with the officers guarding her. Rumors plagued the precinct on what dirty cop could've leaked the information. After a while, the talk dissipated, because of fear or time Tymel wasn't sure.

"You're part of The Prestigious?"

The woman ignored his question, speaking rapidly since five minutes had passed. "We can't talk now, but I will tell you to work on the name Eduardo Rodriguez. If they decide to kill me, at least you'll have a lead. Be careful; they might be listening. There is a girl by the name of Caliya Adams. Go save her. She needs to be hidden."

"What? You're not gonna even tell me your name?"

She emitted a sad chuckle. "If I didn't like you, I would. However, my life's taken a turn for the worse and those who are close to me suffer at my expense. Good luck, Officer."

He heard the toilet flush, the bathroom stall open and then she was gone.
