Chapter 9 - You Again

Yugyeom's pov

"Wait here for us." I told the chauffeur and get down.

Looking at my watch, I notice that I'm early. I decided to wait at the café, ordering 2 cups of chocolate shake. Sipping on the drink, I watch people exiting the building.

'Babe, are you done?' I texted her.

"Sir, are you waiting for someone?" One of the staff asked.

"Yes, why?" I replied.

"We're closing soon. You can remain here if you'd like." The staff addressed.

"Ah...okay." I bow slightly.

Slowly, the café closes, with me sitting at the table, all alone. Just then, I see someone who looks exactly like y/n.

"It's her!" I stand up hurriedly.

However, I pause when I notice a familiar guy beside her. I've totally forgotten about his existence. Both of them are chatting happily, standing really close to each other. Jealousy fills me immediately. I hate him. Alot.

"y/n!" I get her attention.

"Oh Yugyeomie!" She walks away from him.

I hug her, kissing her cheek.

"How's the day?" I asked.

"Still okay. What about yours?" She plays with my star earring.

"Nice like you." He chuckles.

"Oh right! You know him right?" She gestures at the guy.

"Of course! How could I forget?" I fake a smile.

"So, he's the guy who picked you up today?" I need more information.

"Yup. He also guided me around the offices." She beamed.

"Oh.... Well, it's nice to see you again. We'll get going first." I wrap my arm around her waist.

"Yeah. See you next time." He said.

"Bye!" She waves at him.

I hand her the drink and we make our way to the car.

"Did you know that he has a girlfriend?" She said.

"He has?" I questioned.

"Yup. He was sent to America for work. He met a girl there and started dating her. It has been a month plus now." She explained.

I feel that the rock on my heart is gone. I sigh in relief.

"Stop being jealous!" She giggles.

"Since when? I'm not." I feign ignorance.

"I can see that all over your face just now. It's cute actually." She pinches my cheeks.

My cheeks turn pink, blushing at her comment.

y/n's pov

"You can actually cook?" I eye at the noodles.

"I took up cooking classes you know." I.M flicks his hair.

"I bet you burnt the entire cooking centre." I joked.

"I'm not as bad as Wonho hyung!" He finds an excuse.

*beep beep beep*

I.M look at his watch.

"Yugyeom, we've got something to do." I.M gobble down the food.

"Okay." Yugyeom did the same.

Remember that they are undercover agents? Every now and then, they'll get a mission. Since Yugyeom's secret base is at GOT7's house, he currently shares the same base as I.M. They won't reveal much about their missions but they will inform us when they have one.

Yugyeom's pov

Our boss sent us some information about the new mission. I.M flashes it on the screen.

"Huh?" I.M bends forward.

"It must be some sort of a code." I examined the words again.

"Who is the suspect?" I asked.

He double click on the mouse, the screen changed into another picture. It's a name, I think.

"So, KT is the serial killer? Even the police doesn't know?! Do we have any more information?" I said.

"Last one." He clicks again.

NEXT UP: COOKY

"Cooky?? Who has that name?" I find it weird.

"Maybe it's someone's nickname." I.M suggested.

"Boss didn't send anything else, he only had these three clues. I think we have to begin our investigation from scratch." I.M shakes his head.

We sit around a table to discuss and do our research.

"There's nothing about KT. No such name." I.M shows me his tablet screen

"I've searched 'Cooky' on Naver. There are many pictures of a man, Girls Generation and a bunny." I pass my tablet to I.M.

"A bunny? Is there even a bunny called Cooky?" I.M finds it weird too.

"Let me check more." I take it back, going into the link of the bunny picture.

"It's a Line character drawn by Jungkook." I read out the most crucial line.

"WHAT?! JUNGKOOK?" I.M uses his device to find more information.

"Jeon Jung Kook? The agent?" I try to get a grip of myself.

"Yes it is! So...Jungkook is going to die?" I.M puts the puzzle together.

"Seems like it. But, I thought Jungkook moved to Switzerland? How is this VT guy going to kill him?" I recalled.

"Oh right.... Maybe he's back?" He said.
