How Vivienne Joined The Circle
Only a few months ago Vivienne was accepted into "the circle," still on the outskirts of it and battling acceptance from her old friends, Vivienne deals with the drama that plagues every teenagers life. Now to the average person Vivienne seems like a normal, carefree, smart girl, when you delve deeper she becomes a hilarious, creative, and even slightly sick-minded individual. This is the story of how Vivienne became part of the circle.
On a average cloudy day (which seemed to always be the weather in Canada,) Vivienne noticed something on the ground. It was someone's folder for HCE, which was written in large lettering on the first page. At the bottom of the page was small lettering which read @SingleWithPringles. Vivienne took notice into this and stored it into her mind to look into later. Now being the goody-two-shoes Vivienne was (notice the use of past tense,) she decided to return this belonging to the rightful owner. Unfortunately and fortunately Meline was nowhere to be found, and Vivienne would later learn that it was due to the fact that Meline was away that day. (Not a rare occurrence, Meline was away a lot and some of her friends had a suspicion that she had caught some strange disease.) Now as I was saying, Vivienne decided to place Meline's folder in her backpack, bent on keeping it in pristine condition.
20 Minutes Later...
Vivienne arrived at her home, stepping towards the backdoor which was how she gained entrance to the house. She rummaged amidst her backpack searching for her keys, hoping against all logic that it had mysteriously not been forgotten in her room. A worried expression lit up the face of Vivienne, as she proceeded to bang on the door a couple of times. No reply.
10 Minutes Later...
Vivienne was getting increasingly bored so she decided to take out the Ipod Touch she shared with her fraternal twin sister Jania. She opened up safari and googled random things, since Vivienne was a book-lover she tried; "free books online." As the results popped up the clouds above her seemed to part willing her to click the link of one of the top options; Wattpad. Wattpad promised free books, written by average teens like her. She couldn't resist, so she clicked on it, and that was the beginning of the end.
15 Minutes Later...
The backdoor of her home finally opened to reveal her sister; Jania.
"Vivienne," she yelled exasperated. "Where have you been?"
"I've been knocking on the door waiting for you to open it."
"No you haven't," Jania countered, "You've been playing on my Ipod!"
"Ours," Vivienne corrected.
"Give it!" demanded Jania.
"No," Vivienne replied smoothly, already getting tired of bothersomely bickering.
Jania expertly grabbed it from Vivienne while she ran upstairs cackling, her body riddled with infectious laughter. Vivienne thought it useless to follow after her, remembering Meline's duo-tang she brought it to her room with her. Vivienne wanted to go to the site that she had been on earlier but she had forgotten the name, frowning slightly she realized that she should just search; "free books online." She tried that and for some odd reason nothing showed up, like a pan had hit her in the head the information came rushing back at her, and she remembered the name...Wattpad! She quickly typed it and continued browsing the site of wonder.
30 Minutes Later...
Vivienne was laughing as she read a witty story by the author; "@Cold_lady19," a hilarious book about a girl and guy falling on love through Wattpad. It was brilliant! She continued reading it until there was nothing left to read. Bored, Vivienne realized that she should take a look at other books too, so she clicked the shuffle button at the top of the screen. Almost immediately a story popped up, its name? "H1Z1," as she read she realized she was intrigued it was not as good as the likes of "@Coldlady19," but it entertained her nonetheless. After a couple minutes she had read all that the user had posted and was hungry for more. So she clicked on the authors profile, to see that the username was @SingleWithPringles. It reminded her of something... the duo-tang! Vivienne quickly grabbed it and looked back and forth, forth and back. It matched! Someone from her school had a Wattpad! Vivienne couldn't wait to tell Meline the next day about how much she liked her story!
