Stolen And Shattered Dreams

I look around me and it looks dark outside ,but who am I fooling ,the wall clock says ;04:50 and we leave at six which gives me an hour to get ready .

I force myself up running my fingers through my hair in frustration as my feet touch the cold ground below.
I begin dragging myself to the bathroom slowly .
When I get to the bathroom I stare at myself in the mirror.
Today might be my only chance at getting out of this mess but I don't want to get other people hurt.
I begin brushing my teeth and when I'm done I take a long shower ,allowing the warm water trickle down my skin and relax my muscles .

When I step out with a towel around my body I look at the time and its ; 5:35am .
I hurry and finish up then I put on a knee high dress that has different patterns in black and white  ,it has short sleeves and then I slip on a pair of black stilettoes . I put pins in my hair to stop it from coming to the front of my face and moisture my lips after applying minimum make up.

Before I know it there's a bang on the door and then the door opens and Antonio walks in wearing a black suit and tie .
"Its time to go ", he says picking up my bag and I follow him .

As soon as we step outside the morning breeze hits against my skin and then Antonio puts the bags in the car before instructing me to enter the  black Audi .
He exchanges a few words with Stefano and then drives off to the airport.

The rid is silent and I can see Antonio looking at me from the corner of my eye and all I do is ignore him.
When we finally stop he walks out and opens my door and instructs me to get out and follow a man with black suit, at first I have my doubts because ;
we aren't at an airport .
Once I enter the aircraft it looks beautiful ,with brown leather seats ,it like first class .
" What's going on ?",I ask .

"Its a private jet and that's why we're the only ones on it ", he says .

He enters and sits right across from me ,and buckles his seatbelt and I follow suit.

" Can I get you anything ?",a young lady asks ,I'm guessing she's the flight attendant .

"Scottish whiskey for me and for the  lady  just apple  juice", he says .

" I'm allergic ,could I just get water ",I say .

The attendant leaves and Antonio says," Are you allergic to everything ?" The irritation in his voice can't be hidden .

"Just processed cheese and apples and pineapples "
There is silence after that . Later on his drink is served and so my water .
"Let me fill you in on our little love story ", he starts and my nerves return ." We met last year in Winchester university when you were studying you geology course and we happened to be in the same lecture room "

"How did you know I go to Winchester university?", I ask .
A smirk plays on his lips and he says ," I know everything about you Scarlet  ,but that is beside the point . We fell in love and so this year  you decided to visit me over the break and I proposed .
My name is Silvester Taylors and I'm studying to get a degree in Environmental law ,I go to Winchester university and I'm 25 years old ."

I remained silent .

"I don't want any mistakes ,Scarlet", he warns.

The rest of flight is silent and I finally give into the sleep.

" Scarlet ,wake up ."

My eyes slowly open and I look up Antonio's face .
I look around and I'm in a car and packed in my mother's driveway .
I'm so happy to be back home but I know it not for long .
We get out of car and we get to the front door ,all the sleep has vanished from my eyes .

Antonio slips his hand into mine and I pull away in surprise ,he does the same thing and the pushes to the bell .
My heart skips a beat as remember that now I'm a 22 year old female who is engaged .

There's shuffling on the other side of the door and then finally the door opens .
My mom's face lits up as soon as my eyes meet hers and she pulls me into a suffocating hug.

"Scarlet!", she yells.

I can't help but feel the tears begin to roll down my face.
And the Antonio clears his throat .

" Whose this baby ?",mom asks

I pull myself together and say, "This is A - ,I mean this is Silvester Taylors ", I say slipping my hand into his ," His my fiancée mom ".

" Very nice to meet you ma'am ",he says with his hand outstretched for a handshake.

My mother returns the gesture and welcomes us inside .
We settle on the couch and she gets us  glasses of juice .

When she returns I force a smile onto my face .
" So how long have two known each other ?",mom asks

"Two years ,we met last year at Winchester"

"Silvester ,how old are you?"

"I'm 25 "

"What are studying?"

"I'm doing environmental law and I'm getting degree at the end of the year ".

" So Scarlet why did you just up and leave ?"

I sip the water before answering considering its the one thing Antonio didn't tell about .
"I was going to visit Silvester but then I forgot my phone ,I wanted to text you but I lost track of time ,I'm sorry mom"

She didn't look convinced.

"How long are staying ", she asks .

" Three days ,Silvester has some works to do before we return to school"

"But we'll be staying in a hotel ", Antonio adds .

" Nonsense, you can stay here I have more than enough room "

"Mom we have four bedrooms  and their all occupied." ,I correct.

"Oh don't be silly you both can share your room and besides honey, I trust y'all ", she said

All my blood drained from my face ,I couldn't possibly share a room with the kidnapper .
Pictures of yesterday play back when he said nothing could stop him from getting what he wanted .

" I'll go get bags from the car ",Antonio said before squeezing my hand too tight .

When he leaves the room my mom looks at my with leading eyes and I can see her tears begin to roll down her cheeks.
" Baby ,something's not right . Is he forcing you to stay with him ",she pleads.

I remain silent contemplating weather or not to tell her .
The silence causes her too worry more so she asks again," Is her forcing you ,baby?"

I look at the window to see if Antonio is near but he looks preoccupied with a phone call .

"Please ma Antonio is a great man ", is all manage to say and tears roll down my face ," I can handle this mommy ,I'm a big girl now ",I lean closer to whisper in her ear and say ," he loves me a lot and I love him too ".
And then wipe my tears and head outside to assist with the bags .

When I reach him,he is busy abusing someone's ears over the phone with curses and the the bags are on the floor . I dare not interrupt so I grab the bags and head back inside the house .
My bedroom looks just the same way I left it ,I drop the bags on the floor and head to kitchen to help mom prepare dinner .

Soon enough my sister Ashley comes homes and the Thomas . They are both really happy to see me and excited to hear about the fake engagement, they also seem to love Antonio's company ,although ever since he came back from that phone call his been giving me a wired look.

After dinner everyone heads to bed but me ,I offered to wash the dishes so I can buy myself time and maybe even sleep on the couch by mistake .
