In case you were looking for a Halloween-themed one shot, here it is! I wrote it pretty last minute so... I hope it's good!

Scott knows Bailey loves Halloween. From the moment she'd realized that she could get all the candy she wanted if she just smiled and spoke sweetly, she'd been obsessed with the holiday. Plus, she loved dressing up her dolls so putting costumes on herself was easily the next best thing.

She can be a little overwhelming once October rolls around and stores start breaking out the costumes. Which is why, yet again, Scott is more than grateful for the most lovely nanny (and hottest boyfriend) ever.

Because when Bailey starts going crazy over costumes and trick or treating, Mitch deals with it all. He helps her pick out her costume, he watches scary movies with her no matter how many times she asks to see the same one. Scott loves him for it.

Scott has to work on Halloween, which he thinks is totally dumb, but he manages to not complain the whole day. He's excited to see Bailey's costume when he gets home since she and Mitch decided it would be totally fun if they made it a secret from him.

She's all dressed up when he enters the house, tired from work but eager to take his daughter trick-or-treating.

"Buttercup! Mitchy!" Scott calls as he drops his coat into the closet.

He hears the soft patter of Bailey's little feet as she scurries around the corner. She's wearing the brightest orange pumpkin costume he's ever seen and she honestly rocks the orange face paint and temporary hair dye.

She catapults herself at him and he catches her (pretty gracefully, if he says so himself). He tightens his arms around her, laughing as the pumpkin costume squishes under his arms. She swings her orange-tight-covered legs as she smiles happily. "I'm pum'kin, now. Not bu'ercup."

"Oh," Scott smirks. "So sorry, pumpkin."

"It's okay. I forgive you, Dada." She nods, playing with a button on his shirt.

"Where's Mitchy, my little pumpkin?"

"He's gettin' ready. He got the most prettiest cos'ume ever, I promise!"

Scott laughs softly, setting her back down. "I believe you."

"Good." She stands there for a moment before perking up. "Oh! I almos' forgot my hat!" And then she's off again, pattering down the hall on her tiny feet and shutting her bedroom door.

Scott hums, making his way to his own bedroom, undoing the buttons of his shirt as he goes. He's got to get into costume, too, but he honestly doesn't know what it is. Mitch had promised he'd get all the costumes, and Scott had just trusted him wholeheartedly.

He's shoulder his shirt off when he finally pushes into his bedroom and his breath is caught in his throat when he sees Mitch in nothing but black tights and a red polka-dot skirt.

"Mitchy," Scott breathes.

Mitch spins around, showing off a very subtle lipstick and some blush on his cheeks. Scott thinks he's wearing mascara, too, but his eyes are drawn to those subtly red lips.

"Hi, Scotty. You're home early."

"Yeah, Kirstin said I could go since it's Halloween - Bailey and all."

"Well, perfect. That means you can get into your sexy costume sooner."

"What am I gonna be?" He asks as he's handed red and black cloth, a yellow bow tie pressed to the top.

"You're Mickey and I'm going to be your Minnie." Mitch smiles brightly, grabbing a black shirt and toeing on some yellow pumps. "It's PG and a couples costume so I thought it would be cute. Mostly importantly, I wanted an excuse to wear a skirt."

Scott laughs softly, tugging his clothes off and replacing them with red slacks, a white button down and a black suit jacket. "Well, you look very pretty, Minnie."

"Why thank you, Mickey!" Mitch giggles, tucking his black shirt into his skirt and grabbing some white gloves. Scott notices the little mouse nose and whiskers Mitch has drawn on and watches as he slips some round ears with a red bow over his dark hair. "When you're all ready, I can paint on some whiskers for you, Scotty."

Scott hums, nodding happily as he does up his yellow bow tie.

When he's all finished, Mitch draws a nose and whiskers for him in black costume makeup and offers him a set of his own mouse ears. Scott pecks Mitch's cheek as he pushes it over his hair, and Mitch grabs his hand to lead them out to grab Bailey.

She's all set by the door when Scott and Mitch get there, the pillowcase she plans to haul all of her candy around in (but will eventually pass off to Scott when it gets too heavy) is held in her hands.

She smiles when she sees their costumes, "Dada, you look so han'some!"

"Well, thank you, pumpkin!" Scott smiles, "you look very cute, Bailey."

She smiles, "thank you," and rushes forward to grab Scott's hand, tugging him along and pushing open their front door. They're stepping down onto the front porch when Scott turns his head and reaches out for Mitch.

"Come on, Minnie." Scott flexes his fingers with a gentle smile on his face. "Time to trick or treat."
