Fifteen → Temporary Happiness

I went back to our hotel room and I couldn't help but smile about what just happened. We shared a kiss. A real one.

I knocked multiple times on our door and Louis opened it, he smiled brightly at me. "Sooooo? How was the kiss?"

I laughed nervously. "How did you know?"

"Well, the boys and I piled up in the small balcony and we saw everything that happened." He winked.

I gave him a thumbs up and pushed past him. As I walked past the boys, they were giving me thumbs up, Liam even high-fived me.

I walked to our room and jumped on my bed. I grabbed my phone and texted Ariana.

'I had so much fun today! Thank you. ;) ps, you are so adorable. xx' I typed and sent it to her number.

The smile on my face was nearly impossible to wipe off at the moment. It felt like I've never been this happy in years. And it makes me happier that Ariana is the reason why I'm happy.

But this happiness is probably temporary. Because we have to leave LA and return to UK on the day after tomorrow.

I'll be leaving Ariana. Though I get to bring the good memories with me, I'll be leaving a wonderful girl behind. And I may see the almost worst girl in the whole world. Perrie Edwards.

While Ariana hasn't texted me back yet, I opened twitter and composed a new tweet. 'Temporary happiness. :| x'

When the tweet was sent, my phone received Ariana's reply. 'You're makin me blush again, :) hahaha, today was amazing! Thank you too Zayn. xo'

Her reply made me smile a little. She was really so adorable.

"Lads. You need to go to sleep early tonight. You have a radio interview tomorrow between 6 and 7am." I heard Paul in the living room. I stood up and went to the living room, I threw my phone on my bed and left it there.

"We're busy tomorrow?" I asked and sat on the arm of the couch. If we were going to be busy tomorrow, I may not be able to ask Ariana to hang out.

"In the morning, yes. But in the afternoon, you lads can enjoy your last day in LA. I'm gonna let you lads have fun since Simon told me so." He replied as he took off his jacket, he was just outside earlier.

"Simon's letting us have fun, like... without you?" Louis asked pointing from himself and to Paul.

"Yes. But please, make you sure you won't get caught by paparazzi or get mobbed by your fans. Stay out of trouble. Or I lose my job." He sighed taking a seat. "But if you lads want to, you can stay here and rest."

"Can I invite someone over?" I asked hoping he'd say yes. I was planning on inviting Ariana over again.

"You just did earlier without even asking me so... why not? Sure. Bring your girlfriend again." He scoffed.

"She is not my girlfriend." I protested rolling my eyes at him.

"Yet." Louis laughed and I high-fived him.

"Say what you want. Okay. Make sure you go to sleep early, got it?" He said and walked to the kitchen as we said 'got it'.

The radio interview was finally over. Thank god. Paul took us out for lunch and after that, we went our separate ways. Niall and Liam went to a mall while Harry and Louis walked around. Me? I stayed at our hotel room to take a nap.

After my nap, I glanced at the clock it was 1:49pm.

I got my phone and went through the contacts. When I saw 'Ariana ;)', I tapped it and started to call her.
