As the door opened to reveal the trapped puppet and Goldie, Jeremy stepped over a bit afraid. "A-are you two haunted too?" he asked, holding up the mask to his face. He knew Freddy wouldn't hurt him, but these two are different. Freddy had told him a bit about them. The puppet was supposed to be the first kid who went missing. Goldie was the boy who got bit back in '83. "I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. I couldn't save them."

Goldie and Puppet looked at each other before looking back at the security guard. "Who are you?" Goldie asked, standing up onto his legs. He hasn't moved from his spot in forever, so it felt nice for him to actually move. He wasn't worried about any more gears breaking inside him, after all, he was dead.

"I'm Jeremy, the new night guard. Please don't attack me, but I wanted to talk to the Marionette," Jeremy walked into the dark room slowly and held out his hand. "Besides, this isn't a place for children, don't you think?"

The marionette looked up at the man, confused. 'Why would he want me?' he thought to himself. With his toy still in hand, he stood up from his corner and watched the guard. After all, he has no reason to trust a security guard. "Why do you want me?"

Jeremy smiled as he said, "oh good. You do speak. Sorry, it's just that Freddy said you don't talk much..." That's when Puppet remembered Vincent's words.

It was scheduled that your friends be put down. New animatronics will be coming, and do you know what that means? More friends to replace the old ones

"Where are they?" he asked looking up into the man's face."Where's Freddy and the gang?"

That caused Jeremy's smile to fall. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't save them. They took them into away, used their parts for pieces, and were replaced with newer animatronics. The boss thought that would be best."

Goldie was angry now. "They what?! How dare they do that to my friends. Puppet, you can fix them, right? I mean, you fixed us a long time ago. Can you do it again?"

The puppet shrugged, looking away from them. "I can try to give them life again. Freddy and the others will be easy, but someone has to keep an eye on the other guard." Dropping his toy on the ground now, the puppet boy walked out of the room, followed by Goldie. Jeremy led the way towards the older animatronics, but was blocked by the toy animatronics.

"I'm sorry, but it's against the rules to be without a suit." Toy Freddy held up a mask in his hands before glaring at Jeremy. "We can fix that without a problem."

The puppet stepped in front of the cowardly security guard and says, "who are you guys? Who gave you life?"

"Who cares about that. What matters is that we're the improved versions of Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica," Toy Bonnie says as he crosses his arms across his chest. "What are you supposed to be?"

The marionette stared back at the toy animatronics, a bit angry to know that his friends were gone. Glancing back at the guard, he said, "I'm sure you know about me. What are you doing out of your place?"

"So what if we're out of place? What is a little puppet going to do to us?" Toy Bonnie joked. "Are you going to put strings on us?"

Toy Chica laughed before saying, "how are you even walking around right now? What's holding you up?"

Goldie was angry with their disrespect towards the puppet that he joined the puppet's side, pushing Jeremy behind him. "How dare you speak to the marionette like that! Show some respect!"

"Why would Mr. Fazbear create these guys..." Jeremy whispered silently to himself. "Are these kids too?"

Toy Freddy, hearing this smiles at him. "You're right, Golden Fredbear. We should show respect to the old and forgotten. You all have long been forgotten, along with most of your memories. You see, what makes a child a child is their carefree spirit. The old Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica have forgotten their purpose of being here at Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria. Their job is to make the children happy. You, Goldie, don't have any particular reason to be here. As for you, marionette, what purpose can you supposedly have when you're stuck inside a box all day?"

Jeremy shook his head no. "They've been protecting these kids for years! All of them have been doing so much more for those kids than anyone can imagine. Trying to keep kids safe and happy is not an easy thing to do when you still want people to know the truth behind this place and their animatronics.

Glaring at him now, the toy animatronics stepped forward, trying their best to intimidate the guard. Jeremy, trying to remain calm, kept his ground. He thought that if these kids could stand up for all five of the other kids without asking anything for themselves in return, he could do the same for them.

Taking notice in this, the Puppet felt that in order to help the others, he's going to need to keep this man alive for now. After all, he knows stuff that can possibly help them catch purple guy.

"Jeremy, right? I need you to leave right now. I'll see what I can do about the others after I handle these three. For now, just run. I need you out of the way." The Puppet stepped closer to the toy animatronics, giving Jeremy time to run.

After hesitating a bit, he did as he was told. Jeremy ran back to his office, hoping that the toy animatronics wouldn't follow. As he ran, he was suddenly grabbed and pulled into a corner. His mouth was covered by Vincent as he gestured for him to stay quiet. Jeremy nodded, deciding to follow his orders.

"Sorry to scare you, Jeremy, but I just had to see what would happen when he finds out," Vincent whispered, trying his best to hide his grin. "That puppet really liked the others, so I wanted to see how well he would interact with the replacements."

Jeremy shook his head no, moving his hand away. "Vincent, they're children. Don't act like they're only machines."

"Don't be fooled by them, young Jeremy. After all, they can kill you," Vincent said, watching the young guard. He didn't know what it was about Jeremy that he liked in him. Maybe it was because of Jeremy's cowardice, or maybe it was the fact that he believes he could save the children from his strings. "Unless you want to join them, I would recommend you stay away from them. After all, it would be a shame if we lost another night security guard. Phone guy didn't even want this job."

Jeremy, feeling like a small child, looked down at his shoes. "H-hey Vincent? H-has anyone ever tried talking to them? These kids, they're really scared, you know? Freddy had said that they can't move on until the killer pays for their crimes, but wasn't the killer caught already?"

Vincent shrugged, pretending not to know the answer. "That's what it said in the papers. It's impossible to save them without them stuffing you inside one of those death traps."

"But there has-"

"Trust me when I say this, Jeremy. You can't."
