"Alpha!" my beta shouted with annoyance pounding on my office door. "WHAT! I'm busy alex." "your parents are here alpha." I cursed looking at my watch. "Shit I forgot about the dinner plans. I'll be right down" I save my files and look in the mirror to fix my tie. While I stand there i notice how nicely my brown hair is slicked back and look at my green eyes. "Here goes nothing"
As soon as I walk down the stairs I'm bear hugged by my dad. "Hello son." like usual, he always calls me son. "Hi dad, hi mom" I finally get out of my dads grip and walk over to my mom for a hug. "Hi honey" my mom says. "Son sit down we need to talk."
"Harold let the boy eat first then we can talk" my mom always cares about my well being first and she always has.
I sit down at the table after bugging my mom so much to let me help with dinner but she insists that she has it. She's making steak just how dad and I like it. I look over at my dad and realize he doesn't look a Day over 30. I guess being a werewolf does that to you. We age slower then normal human beings so my dad could be 60 in human years and Not look like it. Also since he has his mate, my mom, he will always be complete. You see your mate is like your other half that the moon goddess makes only for you and without them your incomplete. They are your soulmate and no matter what they look like or how many flaws they have you will love them for them. Without them you are weak. And for the moon goddess thing, She is the mother to all the wolf's. She's the one that creates your mate for you. However of you reject yout mate. She will be mad And there will be consequences.
"Dig in boys" my mom snaps me out of my thoughts while putting the plates down on the table.
After dinner my dad makes me sit down to have a "talk" with him. Usually it's about the rouges around lately. Rouges are wolf's who don't belong to a pack because either they are disowned because they didn't follow their alpha or they simply just leave not likeing the rules, so they usually fight against pacts like mine and it's been happening a lot often. So I'm sure it's about that.
"Son the pack needs a Luna."

Alpha- (damon) the wolf born into the bloodline to rule the pack.
Beta-(alex) the 2nd in command
Not in the story yet but
3rd in command
Rouge- wolf that doesnt belong to a pack
Moon goddess - the goddess that creates the wolf's mate's . they warship her
Mate- soul mate, other half, made for each other
Luna- the alphas mate. Female alpha
Wolf's can mindlink there other pack members. As long as if they are in the same pack.
Mindlinking is were you can communicate in each others head
Marking- when the mate bites his/her mate to say they are there's. Its full of lust, pleasure, and love. After that is they have to mate (sex). However if they don't the female will go into heat.
Heat- serious pain that feels like ur body is on fire, only there mate can soothe completely. And all unmated make wolf's will be able to smell it and try to take her so the male mate must be careful on who is mate is around during it.
