note : I wasn't active in forever because I had an exam in school and I needed to keep my grades perfect like they always are. Sorry I should be more humble... BUT MY GRADES ARE HIGH!!!

Tomika's POV

I ran and ran and ran. I ran as far as I could. And then boom. I ran right into a wall and ended up cutting my lip and scratching my nose in the process.

"You have nowhere to run now Young." I turned around and glared at the crew. "Beat me up and you'll regret everything. I have friends. And they're boys." I threatened them, got my phone and contacted the boys.

"Do you mean these boys?" The leader laughed and showed me the current live stream of Freddy, Zack and Lawrence on Instagram. Those fools were playing video games and ignoring the ringing.

"Summer, come on, we're friends! Let's talk about this." I chuckled and raised my hands up in defeat. "Sorry Tommy, that stage in our life passed. Get her girls." Everything went black.

"Hey Tomi-!" I threw my bag at the boys. "Why're you mad?" "And why do you have a black eye?" "And why are you limping?" "Hmm, I don't know. Maybe I would've known... IF YOU DUMMIES ANSWERED MY CALL!" I screamed and ran up to my room, jumping on my bed.

First of all, you must know that this is Freddy's house. When I said 'my room', I meant the guest room. I'm living in Fred's house because my parents are abroad and my brothers are busy. Don't fret, they all know I'm here at Freddy's.

"Hey..." I looked at the door and saw Freddy. I looked away and hugged my pillow. "You okay?" He asked. "What happened? Talk to me Tomika. I'm responsible for you."

"Yes you are." I finally said. "I'm the only girl in our group of friends and I don't wanna sound sexist but you and Zack and Lawrence should've been there for me."

"I thought you were strong and tha-" "Sometimes I need heroes. Especially you, I expected you the most to be there for me." A tear rolled down my cheek.

"You're my best friend T, I'm you're hero, I'll always be there to save you." "Then why weren't you there when I needed you the most?" I cried.

"Because sometimes, I can be stupid. Sometimes I'm an idiot, I can be a fool. But this time, I promise to be there when you need me the most."

I sat up and looked at him. "Pinky promise?" I asked sticking my pinkie out. I know I sound dumb, but come on.

"Pinky promises are too naïve." He smirked and I gave him a questioning look. Then he leaned in and kissed me.
