"I feel like a terrible person," Jaqueline mumbles.

Saturday is really what she needed. She couldn't go back to school after everyone had heard what happened last night. Hell, she did not want to see Gerard.

"Jack, you're not a bad person at all," Leo says, "but you did make a bad decision."

"I know," she says. "Have you spoken to Gerard?"

"Not since right after the match. Ya know, before all the fighting went down," he replies.

"I'm going to the mall later. I just can't deal with sitting here," she says, running upstairs.

"Wait, Jackie!" Leo shouts, running after her, but to no avail, the door to her room locked and the sound of muffled crying making Leo realize what was happening.

She knew she was wrong, but she also knew it would be very hard to fix what happened. It just hurt a hell of a lot.

"Ew, Sese," Laura says, laughing. "You're putting strawberry sauce on your pancakes?"

He glares at her.

"Ew, Laura. You're putting maple syrup on your pancakes?" he mocks, making her grin.

"Well, goodness. Ew to both of you," Rene says.

"Fuck you," Sergio says, turning to their oldest brother.

"Language, Sergio!" their mom yells.

After a big laughing fit, Sergio kisses his baby sister's forehead.

"Look, Laura, I'm really sorry. I should've talked to you first instead of ignoring you," he says, his brown eyes staring into her blue eyes.

"I love you, Sergio," she says, giving him a side hug.

"I love you much more, goose," he replies, smiling.

Their phones vibrate at the same time: a group chat.

Cris🤓: mall, guys?

Laura: for sure

Sergio: I'm down too

Laura: who else is coming?

Cris🤓: basically everyone 🤙🏻

Sergio: see you soon man

"Let's go get ready," Laura says, racing Sergio up the stairs.

She quickly puts on black joggers, and a white and blue baseball tee. She slips on black and white trainers while braiding her hair.

She needed this day with her friends, especially Cristiano. She was such an awkward flirter and when they were texting last night, she didn't know what to say when he texted 'I really like you', so she just simply sent a ';)'. They would have to talk today.
