The pale aquamarine moon cast a reflection of a creature on all fours. A grey Lycan stood at the edge of the cliff with a starry gaze at the silvery sphere in the nights sky. It emitted a low howl and then took off through the thick glade of trees and through overhanging branches before stopping in a clearing, in an open space in the woods.
Another supernatural stood there, glancing at it with an expressionless face. Unlike the wolf, it stood on two legs and resembled a human.
"Hello Krea" snarled the stranger. The grey wolf lay still, rolling and twisting before assuming a human form.
"If it isn't Olin, in the flesh," Krea replied, keeping a safe distance from the Vampire as they stalked in circles.
"You kept me waiting long enough" Olin said stopping abruptly in his movements. He watched her make a slight grin. "No I did not. You must have lost track of time." She replied before feeling her back to the ground as Olin pinned her down. "Careful Olin, a girl might think you have gone soft. " She stroked his hair in a tender way before flipping him over.
"We should be together," Olin said gazing deeply into her eyes while she gazed into his which were emerald-green.
"But we can not. My father would not approve"
"Then why did you come? " stressed Olin watching her slowly stand. "I just wanted to see you Olin", she paused watching him scoff. "... Also to tell you I am leaving". She noticed his surprise at her mention of 'leaving' and then crouched.
"Don't look for me." She had almost transformed when her growl of 'please' came out.
Olin watched Krea's retreating figure in wolf form and knew not to follow her. His hand sliced through a willow branch nearby like a blade as he felt pain build up into anger and hate and then nothing. His body dissipated into a thick wisp of smoke which released a bat which fluttered through the night skies with mental screeches of 'Olin, Olin...' Even as a bat he had to remind himself of his name so as not to get stuck as this furry blinded creature.
