What If... I Can't Move On?

Moving on? Well that is what they always say. Very easy actually to say. But in real life, napakahirap gawin.

I could remember, I have read an article that was stating the phrase "It is easy to forgive, but it is very hard to forget". When I have read that, for me, it was just a plain saying. I never thought that after some time, I would realize ang value ng saying na iyon. Ang saying na iyon na totoong totoo pala. Ang saying na iyon na ang sakit sakit tanggapin.

It was on the 23rd of September when that moment happened. A usual day for me actually. Very normal. I was already on my way to the place where I am working as a Sales lady.

I was almost near at the mall where I was working when I've checked my pocket and found out na I forgot my phone. I got so terrified because I am waiting for a call from the employer na inaplyan ko sa Singapore.

I hurriedly told the driver ng jeep na huminto because bababa na ako. After dropping off from the jeepney, I looked for another jeepney na pabalik sa bahay namin.

After reaching our gate, I immediately opened our front door but it was locked. Nagtaka ako. It should not be closed kasi may mga tao naman sa loob ng apartment na inuupahan namin. And it is going to be very hot inside if nakasara ang pintuan.

I do not know what pushed me during that time and naisipan ko na lang na pumunta sa gilid ng bahay to check the window. There was a curtain covering that pero medyo may part na nag-oopen paminsan-minsan. Parang natatamaan ng hangin ng Electric Fan. Lumapit ako and itinuon ang mata sa mumunting siwang na bumubukas sa kurtina. And there, right at that moment.... Iyon ang pinakamasaklap. Pinakamasakit. At pinaka hindi ko makakalimutang punto ng buhay ko. Ang dami kong beses na hiniling na sana hindi ko na lang nakita yun. Na sana makalimutan ko kung ano man ang nakita ko. Dahil ang sakit. Ang sakit sakit.....
