So Kai hasn't told Lexie about what he does yet ...she doesn't know about the cult. everything since the beginning of season 7 and before episode 4 she doesn't know what he did. She meets Kai after episode 4 "11/9". Lexie knows he is running for councilmen. but this does not change her view of him for the future. She just thinks he is interested in her .. she keeps the fact that she met him with a clown mask on in the back of her head.
