Chapter 30: Plans for tomorrow

We made it back to Tokyo safe and sound. Each one of us seperated as we walk back to our own home. Of course I walked home along with Honoka since our houses are just a few streets away.

But then I completely forgot one thing. My house is now all locked up and all of the stuff I left in my room are moved to Honoka's house.

"Honoka, I'm afraid I'm going to stay at your house for a month."

"R-really? So you have no other choice huh?" Honoka asked while grinning

"Kinda like that. What's with that grin anyway?"

"Too bad there's no other rooms in our house so you're gonna have to stay in my room for a month" Honoka grinned

"And you're happy to have a roommate with the opposite gender?"

"What's wrong with that? We're friends anyway" She just kept smiling

"You're not fully aware of that fact aren't you?"

"Of what?" Honoka asked

"Nevermind that"

A few minutes later, we reached her house.

She went to the back door and entered inside. I immediately followed her. Honoka's little sister Yukiho is there waiting for our arrival.

"Onee-chan welcome back. How's the training camp?" Yukiho greeted Honoka

"It's really fun! You should've come with us." Honoka enthusiastically replied

"First of all onee-chan, I'm not a school idol so I have no reason to come with you. Besides, I'm quite sure you gave onii-san a hard time" Yukiho replied

"Hehehe, quite true though" Honoka giggled

"Yukiho, did my parents brought all my stuff here?"

"Oh right, we put it on onee-chan's room." Yukiho replied

"Including all of my manga and anime dvd's?"

"Yup! By the way, I borrowed some of your manga. Its really interesting that I can't stop reading it." Yukiho's eyes beamed

"Uh, sure. Just return it to me after you read it."

"Okay!" Yukiho went back to her room and seems so happy about it

Meanwhile, Honoka went to the kitchen and prepared a kettle of tea and some japanese sweets they sell.

I called Umi and informed her my current situation. Of course she seems to understand it but I can hear from her tone she's worrying about it. Before she hung up her phone, I heard an old man shouted her name and sounds like he's angry at something. I can't help but to worry about her

Honoka went back to her room along with the snacks.

"Oh right, I forgot. The bed sheets and the pillows are placed in that drawer over there." Honoka pointed to the drawer near to ger bed

"Okay, thanks"

Its a bit awkward. Although we usually talk that much about many stuff before. But it feels weird and the atmosphere is really awkward too.

"Honoka I know this is a bit sudden but, how come you don't have that much stuff here in your room?"

"Eh, you think so?" Honoka replied, "Well, I guess I'm not that much in for collecting stuffs, ehehe" Honoka giggled

"So that explains it. You still even have that plush animal I gave you before."

"Yeah. Its because I treasure it since you're the only one who's very kind and caring for me before I met Kotori-chan and Umi-chan" Honoka replied with a smile

To be honest, I didn't expect that to Honoka. To keep something that was given to her for a long time is like very hearthwarming for me.

"Okay! Lets go to the arcade tomorrow Honoka. I'll get you some stuffed animal to fill up your room."

"W-what! What makes you decide that all of the sudden?" Honoka got surprised

"The one that I gave you is getting old so I thought I should give you more. We're best friends anyway, and always supporting me behind my back"

"Geez, I don't know what to say. Thank you so much!" Honoka replied with a big smile on her face

"No problem, just be make sure to wake up early so that we can leave for the first train tomorrow"

"Okaaaay!"

Although its been a while since I hang out with Honoka to have fun, I'll make sure she will get what she wants for tomorrow. As her best friend, I want her to be happy like she's always smiling while everyone is also having fun specially during their practice

As night falls, Ren slept to my room because of her parents on a business trip. I'm really happy not because we both share the room for only the two of us, but we also have a date for tomorrow. Its been a while since this happens. I can't wait!

I'll make sure he'll like me again like before I swear!

Because of this excitement I can't sleep. He's already sleeping like a log. I guess sleeping next to him won't be a bad thing isn't it?

I slowly laid my head next to him and stared at his sleeping face.

Geez, you sleep like a baby. But I guess that's what makes you look cute right? No wonder everyone likes you, especially Umi-chan. Don't worry, I'll make sure you'll love me more than Umi-chan is. I'm very sorry Umi-chan, but I'll make sure this will be a clean fight without all of us going to hate each other. I just want to take back what's mine that's all.
