Okay so this is a story about the reader and dipper pines but not everything you read will be familiar. For example you and dipper are 17-18 years old so it won't be the same as the loveable 13 year old dipper and mable that we have grown to love in the tv show Gravity falls.
However i might grab scenes from gravity falls and put them into a chapter but tweaking it so it doesn't matter what age they are or who is in that scene.
My chapters will be written with me saying "i" instead of "you" because when you read it to yourself it makes you feel closer to being the actual character, for example
"I quickly dart out of the house forgetting to lock the door. It didn't matter to much because i knew there was nothing in there of value to anyone" if you read this out loud to another person they would think that it was something that actually happend to you but if you replace the letter "i" with "you" it changes it up and kind of distances you rather then pulling you onto the role of the main character.
Also i will give you other options instead of just saying
"I start to shiver so i pull up my (f/c) blanket to keep the cold away"
No. I will be doing something like this.
"I start to shiver so i pull up my light blue (or f/c) blanket to keep the cold away" its better then you having to remember what colour you had picked before
