-Confrontation-

I walk through the forest trail watching my footing. My hands grip my bag tightly as make my way down a hill. Today the clouds look as if they will rain. I let out a sigh. Nothing out of the ordinary, I take a short break taking in the scenery. I've always loved the outdoors, something about it makes me feel more alive.

"Oh a local!!!!" Someone yells as I can here the thump of feet coming my way.

"Not again!" I groan turning to see a very beautiful man before me. His eyes widen upon sight of me.

"I'm lost...I wanted to take a nice walk but I've been stuck here for like an hour!!!" He continues as I gawk at his beauty.

"Your a...v-v-" I begin to stutter as my eyes widen. Not in fear but in awe. I feel like I've met this man before.

"Hmm, what of it? Don't tell me you've never met one?" He asks, his question seeming half hearted.

"I mean no, not that I know of" I mumble. Familiarity slowly creep in and before I know it I fall to my knees nausea taking hold of me.

"Hey are you okay?" He asks bending down to give me a hand. I stare at him blankly before slapping it away.

"N-no!" I shout jumping up. His expression changes, tears falling from his eyes.

"I-I'm sorry I'll just try to find my way out, I'm sorry to bother you..." he stands as well walking past me.

"W-wait!" I shout but make sure not to face him, "go straight ahead the trail doesn't last much longer...goodbye sir!" I shout running from him. I make it to my train out of breath my chest feeling tight, as if it were about to burst.

When he stretched his hand out to me, I felt I was so close to remembering something...I watch the scenery fly by me the ocean not to far from my location. Something about this place makes me feel like I don't belong here. My puzzle piece does not fit. I remember the mountains, old forests, shade, everything had age to it.

I feel something wet run down my cheek as I wipe my face. Tears. I haven't cried since I entered grade six.

I walk from the train station to the school building nothing irregular happening during the school hours.

"Hey, wanna go to the arcade?" Arun asks and I shake my head, no.

"What are we? Grade schoolers?" I ask as he Gaels at me.

"Leave it to you Noah, your the only mature guy in this class" he whines as if it weren't fair.

"I just don't see why I should waste my time playing cheap video games at the least..." I mutter. He ponders what I've just said for a few more seconds.

"So you like to play console games?" He asks and I nod.

"I mean after I do my work down" I add and he nods.

"Man your so grown up for your age!" He gives me a light punch to the shoulder pushing me a tad.

"Well I have to head home, see you later Arin!" I shout leaving the room.

I run down the street trying not to stop for any reason. I don't want to run into them again. I make it onto the train no incidents today.

After the train ride home I try to take my time on the trail. I watch my feet drag along my body before bumping into something.

"Oh!" I look up silver hair landing on my shoulders.

"Noah" he calls out I stare as him not knowing how to react.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into..." I mumble trailing off at the end.

"How long do you plan on hurting us?" He asks as I pause my eyes widening.

"Hurting you?" I ask my voice cracking, "I'm hurting you?" I ask once more before glaring up at him, " I don't even know you! What are trying to get at here?!" I shout taking a step forwards.

"It's okay brother" the other boys hands wrap around me. My body tenses in response.

"Let go of me!" I shout not being able to move. "What do you mean brother! Your just some kid who looks like me!" I cry out breaking free from his grasp tumbling to the ground.

"Just a kid who looks like you?" He looks away hurt by my response.

"I can't be your brother! I'm human!" I shake my head. My heart pounds in my chest. Just then a few daggers fly past my head.

"Kai, and Eric Aspline, children of lord Aspline!" A voice shouts out.

"Shit there already onto us!" Kai shouts.

"Your breaking the rules of this area!" Someone jumps down from the trees and walks towards us. I turn to see Arin.

"But he's our brother!" Kai yells.

"Noah over here" Arin commands holding his hand out to me.

"No! Noah!" My reflection shouts.

I grip my head before feeling Kai's touch.

"I won't allow it!" Kai shouts before pulling me over his shoulder.

"H-hey!" I yell as he runs off.

"Get back here with him!" Arin shouts giving chase.

"Noah! I'll get help I promise!" He shouts one last time.

"I said let me go you ass!" I yell beginning to struggle.

"This won't do" he mutters before dropping me to the ground.

"You bastard!" I shout angered by his actions. His hand grips my head, covering my eyes. I tense up in response.

"You really don't believe us do you?" Kai asks me as I shake my head. "Even though we came all this way to retrieve you?" He asks his fingers griping tighter.

"I-I can't..." I respond automatically, as if programmed to say so, "it's not allowed, I'll go back there if I do so" I explain as the world becomes hazy.

"I won't let them do so, Noah" he catches me as I fall back, "let us go" my eyes close on me as I'm lifted up from the ground.
