|Levi's Pov|
I hug Toru tightly but careful to not hurt him in anyway, "how are you?" I heard him ask, I smile slightly and say "better now, and thanks for protecting that little girl....she's in the infirmary but she's been asking to see you a bunch." I mumble into his shirt he only nods as I could tell from the movement from his body. He hugged me back as my cheeks heated slightly from his cold yet warming body.
Suddenly a cough brings us out of our trance causing us to separate. My blush worsened slightly but went away before Hanji could say anything seeing as she was the one hat had coughed in the first place.
Toru smirked....well tried.
Petra was the first to laugh then the girl in front of us but they were interrupted by Hanji screaming.
We snapped our heads towards Hanji's direction only to see that she was looking at the hunters next to us. I sigh and mutter, "damn shitty glasses.." Toru chuckled lowly causing me to click my tongue in annoyance. I noticed that some of the workers were passing by making me grab Petra's arm and rush out of Toru's cage and close the door.
Toru looked at me with confusion present in his eyes as the door closed. His golden eyes gazed into mine making a cold shiver go down my spine involuntary, but as his eyes passed over to the door they soon widen.
Watching him in confusion over the chatter that the girl and Petra were talking about something with a...ship? I don't fucking know.
All I cared about right was why in the world was Toru so close to the other side of the door.
Suddenly the door opened on its own. I flinched and jumped back away from the door, I look over to Toru only to see him smiling widely. I look at him with shock, "how in the hell did you open the door?!!" I heard that girl's voice shout from behind me. I turned to look at her only to see that she's taller than me.
Fuck these people and their damn tallness...I thought to myself before turning around towards Toru again and looked around the door way. Then it hit me. Hard. There was a fucking door panel that allowed him to open the damn door.
"Who's idea was it to put a fucking door panel inside the cage?!" I shout. Everyone freezes except Toru, who was hugging my side.
I sigh as Toru hugs me tighter seeing to have a light pinkish color bloom on his cheeks. Smiley ghostly at him I unhook myself from his tight grip on my waist and walk over towards the exit.
"I'll be back. I need to grab Erwin to tell him about Toru, along with the others." They only nod making me sigh once again. I heard a quiet groan behind me as Toru went back into the cage when Petra told him to. I nod to myself and walk away.
|Toru's POV|
As I went back into the cage I noticed that there were vents in the ceiling. The top of the cage wasn't covered by the glass making it a possible escape but I would have to jump off of something to even get close to the top of the cut off glass.
I think for a minute playing with the bones in in my skeleton hand in deep thought. "Gah!" I exclaimed making a smile I walk over to the concrete wall and put my foot flat against the wall as my other foot...or what's left makes it seem like a boast.
"Graghh ahh...." (hopes this works..) I groan out. Petra seemed to watch what I was doing and got Sally's attention, as they watched me I payed no attention to them to keep my focus.
And then...I launched the plan! I jumped off my side and used the glass as another boast to get closer to the grey concrete, I went faster up keeping myself from falling. I continued this until suddenly every went black as a zap like shock made me go numb and fall hard against the ground. My head had hit first making black like blood seep from my now bleeding forehead.
I heard Petra and Sally call out my name before I fell which made me smile slightly. My eye sight was blurry and I couldn't see properly, probably from the fall. I knew I shouldn't have done that, (BEN drowned anyone? No? Okay! I'm not okay!) or maybe one of my eyes fell out of the socket again.
It's a pain to clean my eyes....tch. When I was about to close my eyes I was suddenly picked up by someone taller than me. All I could see was that he had large neat eyebrows that almost seemed to be layered, and neat combed back blonde hair.
And then I saw Levi, he was looking at me with a slightly worried but angry look.
Aw man...I pissed him off again. This is my second time pissing him off and we haven't even known each other for 36 hours. This sucks ass.. those were my last thoughts before I passed out from my head injury.
