Luke’s P.O.V
“Oi guys, let’s go back now. There’s nothing to do.” I said, we were sitting on a bench in the city. James, Tim and I were with these three girls. I agreed to meet up with them and have been hanging out for ages. But to be honest they’re boring as fuck and they don’t talk to us. They just watch us talk, I was being as nice as I could but quite frankly, I’d had enough. “Don’t ditch us, that’s so dog” One of the girls named Emily said. I think James meant to set Emily and me up, but I couldn’t really ever find myself that attracted to her. She had visible hair extensions, orange stripy arms and legs, not the nicest teeth, wore much too revealing clothes and swore like a sailor. Trying not to be a hypocrite because obviously I swear a fair bit but on a girl, I wouldn’t call it that classy. I kind of just wanted to hang out with Davida, actually I REALLY wanted to hang out with her. “We’ve gotta be home soon” I replied. “No we don’t?” James said totally fucking up my plan, just because he was getting on with his chick doesn’t mean I was getting on with mine. “Well I do…” I said sounding like an asshole. “Whatever then, you go. I’m gonna stay here” James said, “Same” Tim added. No offence but were they fucking blind?! “Ok we’ll I’ll see you guys later, nice meeting you guys” I said to the girls. They were sitting on the ground looking up at us sitting on the bench, they didn’t look trashy at all… “Uhh ok then, bye? Are you even gonna get my number?” Emily asked as I stood up. Wow. “Yeah, just get it of James” I replied getting the fuck out of there. I walked as fast as I could away from the group. When I was about 100 metres away from them I got out my phone, scrolled through my contacts and clicked on Davida.
Davida: Hey Luke!
Me: Hey, aren’t you chirpy today? Haha
Davida: Oh it’s just, I was hoping you’d call…
Me: Really?! That’s adorable! What are you doing?
Davida: Just cleaning my room at the moment, what about you?
Me: Just in the city, wanna meet up?
Davida: Yeah ok, should I come to the city?
Me: If it’s not too much trouble?
Davida: No, it sounds good. I’ll probably be there in an hour
Me: ok, awesome. I’ll see you then.
Davida: Bye, see you soon!
I hung up and put my phone in my pocket. I looked around, ok so an hour to spare. I could have gone back to the group but I decided to go have a look at the shops.
Blake’s P.O.V
“Holy shit that’s a good movie” I whispered to Jai as the credits rolled. I tried to be quiet as the others had drifted to sleep. “What do you wanna do?” He whispered back. “Now?” I asked sitting up. “No, tomorrow… Now you idiot haha!” he laughed. “Shhh” I laughed, holding my index finger to my mouth. “Let’s go to your room?” he asked. I nodded and he followed me to my room. We let the credits keep playing, I don’t know why, I guess we’re both just lazy haha. We went to my room and shut the doors so we could talk normally, how the fuck did they even fall asleep anyway? “What’s this?” Jai asked holding up my notebook. “Uhh… that’s my bucket list” I said shyly. “Oh really, can I read it?” “I guess, no one has before…” He sat on the bed and I did the same. He started to read aloud, “Publish a book, travel the world, get on T.V, sky dive, run/walk a marathon, own a house, meet a very famous celebrity, save a life, break a world record, take a homeless person out for a meal, white water raft, run with bulls, go to Africa, visit a fortune teller, sheer a sheep, pose nude, kiss the ground in Central Station, hug a Janoskian, kiss someone in the rain…” “Oi” he was cut off by Beau. “What?” Jai looked annoyed. “Me and Cassie are going… and Skip.” he said awkwardly. “Whatever, I’ll go home later” Jai replied as Beau left the room. “Bye Cass!” I called out. “Bye babe, talk to you tomorrow!” she yelled back. “See ya Blake!” I heard Daniel yell. “Bye Dan!” I called back. We heard the front door open and close, “Ok, where was I?” Jai said looking back down at the notebook. I snatched it out of his hand, “I think that’s enough of that” I laughed. It was so embarrassing to have someone read it. “Are you serious? It is so interesting though. It’s pretty cool that you have a bucket list” I laughed as my cheeks grew blushed. “I’m pretty sure you can cross ‘hug a Janoskian’ off of the list” he laughed. “I guess I can, we should go do something fun.” I said inspired by my bucket list. “Do you want to cross another thing off your bucket list?” he asked. “Hmm, yeah...” I said picking up my notebook and flicking through the pages. “Oh, this one! Hug a police officer!” I squealed. “Uhh, are you sure?” He asked concerned. “Yeah, I’m sure there would be plenty of cops around the city” “I thought you didn’t want to go to the city?” he laughed. “Well now I feel energised and excited to be able to check something of my bucket list. Let’s go!” I launched off my bed, grabbed my bag and Jai’s hand and we left the house immediately. Well… Jai had to put his shoes on, but still! We started running to the bus stop because it had started sprinkling. The rain was only light, you could barely feel it on your skin but I had straightened my hair earlier and fuck getting it wet. It takes effort to straighten hair with such length. After catching a pretty lengthy bus ride to the city, we got there and started to look around. We looked around for about half an hour and we still couldn’t find any cops. To be honest, we did only look around under cover. I was getting frustrated and decided enough was enough. “Jai, come on we have to find one.” “I’m looking!” he replied, seeming just as frustrated. “Look over there, there’s two standing next to that pole” “Where?” I asked looking around. “See? Under the police umbrella?” he said pointing to them. “But to get to them we will have to go through the rain” I said with a pouty face. “Come on, this is YOUR bucket list. We just came all the way here” he tried to smile but I could tell he would be annoyed with me if I didn’t do it. By now the rain was pouring, but I prepared myself and took a step out off under the cover. “Let’s go” I said to Jai and ran over to the two police man. May I add that they didn’t even offer for us to come under the umbrella. They looked at Jai and I who were absolutely drenched and then looked at each other in shock. “What can we do for you guys?” One asked. “Hey, uhh I just have a quick query, may I please have a hug?” I asked them with puppy dog eyes. There were no words to describe how shit I looked but I just had this confidence for some reason. I think it’s because I was achieving something. Well, if they hug me of course. “And get my uniform all wet? I don’t think my boss would like that…” One said smiling sympathetically. My smile dropped, “Oh please, it’s for my bucket list!” I pleaded. The same officer suddenly stuck out his arms and I went straight in for the hug. “Oh thank you so much!” I squealed. I felt an adrenaline rush, I have a thing about completing things on my bucket list. I grabbed Jai and wrapped my arms around him, he lifted me up so my feet were off the ground and we were now the same height. His whole face pressed against mine and we started kissing passionately. For the first time, his tongue reached mine. The rain poured on us as we kissed in front of the cops, everyone in fact. All my attention was focused on Jai and his precious tongue massaging mine. I felt overwhelmed with happiness and after Jai placed me back on the ground again, I looked up at the rain and smiled. I then had to close my eyes because rain pelted down forcing them shut. I called out thank you to the cops and Jai and I ran back under cover. “That’s two off of your list!” he shouted, the rain was so loud I could hardly hear myself think. “I know!” I squealed once again. Sorry I was just excited.
Luke’s P.O.V
“Here” I said giving a shivering Davida my hoodie. “Aw really? Thank you!” she smiled, “But you have to give me a kiss!” I said nudging my cheek towards her. She leant in with her lips pouted and I quickly turned to make our lips meet. I pressed softly and gently moved her hair out of her face. We stayed like this until someone bumped into us, trying to get out of the rain. We were standing next to a café with a big sail out the front, so we were nice and dry but freezing cold. “You’re so cheeky” she laughed. I smiled and pulled her into my arms. I rested my head on top of hers and tried to keep her warm. “Can we go cuddle at my house?” I asked, still holding her. “Haha of course” she let go of me and smiled. “Do you want a coffee for the way home?” I asked taking a hold of her hand. “Yeah, ok. That should warm you up” she said pointing to my goose bumps. I laughed as we walked towards Zarraffa’s talking and cuddling.
Cassie’s P.O.V
“Later bro” Beau said to Daniel. “Yeah, see ya dude” Daniel replied. “Bye Cass” he said giving me a quick hug. “Yeah, see ya” I replied giving him a soft smile. I just wanted him to go already, not to sound mean but I really just wanted some time alone with Beau. Yes, I like Beau and now we were in his room alone in his empty house. “Are you cold?” He asked looking at my body. “Oh you know, just freezing my tits off…” I replied, he chuckled and stood up. He walked to his wardrobe and pulled out a massive hoodie, he chucked it on the bed next to me. “What is this?” I said holding it up, I can’t even explain how big it was. “Just put it on” he smiled. So I did, it came past my dress and I looked ridiculous. “See? Now that is the cutest thing I’ve ever witnessed” he laughed. I looked at him and shook my head, I didn’t really want him to see me as ‘cute’ but it was a start. “Come here” he held out his hands. I took them and he pulled me in close to him. I looked up into his piercing eyes and couldn’t help but smile. Our faces were so close to each other that I could feel the warmth of his breath when he said, “You’re quite nice to look at” I laughed and he let go of my hands and placed them on my lower back. “I thought you liked Blake?” I said doubting his intentions. “Who told you that?” he asked quietly, before I could respond his lips pressed against mine. I didn’t bother answering his question as I was kissing BEAU BROOKS, the actual Beau Brooks!
