you looked over at your best friend adam, furrowing your brows a little. you knew he'd been having troubles with his 5 year long girlfriend and that made you deeply concerned for him.
"is everything alright?" you ask, sitting up.
"Y/N, it's the oriental pearl" adam replied, very dramatically.
"the chinese takeout on the corner?"
"yeah.. they're out of chicken chow mein, again"
you relaxed again, laughing lightly to yourself. only adam could get that emotional over a chinese order.
