Pained

Chapter 3: Welcome back

I looked over at Darian and tried to move again but i could only move my finger an inch before I was in pain and stop moving letting my finger go limp.

Darian looked at me and i could only dream about what he was thinking, but right now i felt as if id been asleep for years.

I tried to speak but all that came out was a harsh painful sound like a snake getting crushed, i winced at the sound of my voice and then a straw was by my mouth and i looked up to see Darian holding a cup of water for me. I take a sip and smile after swallowing.

I try to say thank you but only a harsh whisper came out and i sighed. Darian just smiled and chuckled. "Your welcome...."

I look at him and he just winks and leaves the room and i find a remote in my hand and press the up button. The bed starts to sit me up and i stop it when i can see threw the window and gasp in shock.
