It sounded like a brilliant plan to Josh, it really did,  when he'd suggested that they should go to 'somewhere snowy and cold' to have a winter holiday together with the boys. He was fed up with YouTube and the rainy and always grey weather of England in general, so he wanted out. He wanted to see snow and have a jolly forth-Christmas with his friends, since they would all seperate on the holiday itself to their parents'.

"Joooosh!" The door of his room burst open, revealing a curious Simon.

"Hey." Josh greeted him as he glanced up from his suitcase that he was currently organising. "What's up?"

"I don't know what to pack." Simon huffed slightly, crossing his arms over his chest as the brunette was still preoccupied with his clothes and was not fully paying attention to him.

"Yourself?" Josh joked shutting his suitcase with a half-smile on his face.

Simon tsked shaking his head. "You're not helping, you know..."

"Pack warm things. We're not going to the Bahama's." Josh shrugged ticking the last item on his list of things for the holiday.

"You don't say..."

This was it. Simon thought after getting off  the plane in Innsbruck, Austria as he was trailing behind his friends, rolling his suitcase with one arm.

The weather was quite chilly for his liking, as they walked through the gates out into open to the bus stop. He stopped next to Josh and peeked over his shoulder to see what he was looking at on his phone.

"The bus that'll take us to St. Anton,  should be here in 10 minutes." The brunette murmured to the group, but mostly to Simon as he could feel his presence behind him and he knew that the blonde wanted explanation why they were standing in a bus stop.

"How long is the ride?" Ethan asked yawning from the lack of sleep he'd got the day before.

"An hour or so." Josh hummed turning towards Simon whose arm was resting lazily around his neck.
"Are you cold?"

He noticed that the other boy was shivering slightly by his shaking hands.

"Nah. M' fine." Simon retracted his arm from him turning towards JJ to start up a conversation.

So the place where they were going was a small village on the mountain called Arlberg in the Alps. It was a real skiing paradise, but that wasn't the reason why the boys wanted to go there. Mostly Josh really. He only told them that there was always snow there in December and showed them their accomodation.
He made them promise that they wouldn't check it out on the internet, trusting him, so their programmes would stay as surprises.

Wondrously they managed to keep it.

As the boys settled down on the bus and the scenery was passing by, they could feel that this trip was going to be an eventful one. By the way the fields were covered in snow, by the blinding white colour of the sky and the happy expressions, child like adoration  of them all.

"Si." Josh nudged the start-strucked man beside him who'd been looking out the window through the whole ride.

"Yeah?" He asked, his eyes not leaving the landscape, not even for a brief moment.

He leaned closer to the window, making it dewy as his hot breath hit the glass surface.

"We're almost there." Josh smiled, lifting up his camera to capture this moment.

"Good." He mumbled, finally taking a side-glance at him. "Did you just take a picture of me?" He raised an eyebrow at him playfully.

"Maybe." Josh shrugged, pretending that he didn't do anything.
