When I name my babies I think carefully about what their names will be. To me, by the time they were born you need to be naming them or thinking about what you are gonna name. Like I have a Silkie named Stud because ever since he was born he would strut around the brooder and the pen like he was the king of the world so when it came down to I need to name him because all I was calling him was here boy, Lol. So I thought about it and I went into my mental notes about him and wall'a that's what I came up with. Before you name them you need to think very carefully about what you want to call that chicken. Here's a list on what you need to consider.
His or her actions.
How they deal with others.
How big or how small.
What actors or singers are they like.
Interact with the bird to get to know him or her so that way you know that the name you pick is the perfect name for it!
This is how you name your chickens and do work, but still Love your Babies.
