Title Credit & Song: Na Na by Trey Songz
Drue~
Running my fingers through my hair, I slipped on my black sweats and adjusted my loose red tank-top. My eyes glanced at the clock, "Oh, fuck," I muttered and ran out of the bedroom. I nearly slipped on the hardwood floor, but I somehow managed to catch myself before falling on the floor. I ran into the living-room, groaning at the mess of crumbled papers, clothes and soda cans that laid on the ground.
In a hurry, I turned on the music, 'I Miss You' played through the speakers as I shoved the garbage into the black garbage bag. Ashton would be home from tour any minute and I wanted to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect for him. Maybe it's the fact that I haven't seen him in months, but I felt nervous. I didn't know what he would think of me now, but I've Skyped with him countless of times before and I'm sure he wouldn't mind my casual attire for the day. Beside, I don't planning on going anywhere with him when he comes home.
'I cannot sleep, I cannot dream tonight,' I sang, moving my hips awkwardly to the music. I shoved two cans of soda into the garbage bag, regretting the decision of having a 'girl's night' yesterday. All we did was fan girl over hot actors, watch stupid corny movies and talk about our favorite music.
"What a nice welcoming," I heard a familiar voice say behind me. I spun around, grinning widely once I saw Ashton standing at the doorway of the living-room. His bags sat on the floor beside him and he was smiling from ear to ear, his deep dimples I had come to love more than anything lit the entire room.
"Ashton!" I ran towards him and jumped into his arms. My legs wrapped around his waist and I pressed my hand against the back of his neck. I pressed my lips against his and Ashton smiled through the kiss. "I missed you," I whispered, shamelessly letting the tears roll down my cheeks.
"I can see that," Ashton chuckled and hugged me tighter. "It feels so good to have you back in my arms, Drue." He said and kissed me again. "I also missed your terrible dancing."
Laughing, I shook my head and poked his cheek. "Shut up. I am an amazing dancer, you cannot deny." That was an obvious lie. My dancing was just as terrible as my singing, but I knew that Ashton loved it. He always said how the expressions I made while singing entertained him, and oddly turned him on. I didn't ask him about the second part.
Ashton returned the laugh and set me down on the floor. "What do you have planned for the day?" He asked, looking around the now clean room. He sat down on the black couch and sighed, seeming exhausted from the fifteen hour flight. I walked over to the television and turned it on, grabbing two PlayStation controllers and turned on the console.
"Let's play," I threw one of the remotes into his lap. Ashton grinned widely, patting his lap. I sat down on his lap and waited for the screen to load until the GTA San Andreas logo showed up on the screen. "How was tour?" I asked as we waited for the game to load. "How was All Time Low?"
"Tour was amazing, and so were the guys." Ashton answered and pecked my cheek. "It would have been better if you were there," he kissed my neck, "I really missed you, Drue," his hand trailed down my side, but before we could continue, the San Andreas' theme song began to play and I laughed at Ashton's pouting face.
As we started to play, I ran CJ through Eastwood in search of the second player icon until I finally found it. "Today," I said as I waited for Ashton to pick his character, "I am dedicating to Mr. Ashton Irwin. What do you want for dinner tonight, babe?" I asked, cocking a brow at him.
Ashton shrugged, his eyes flickered to me before returning to the screen. "Oh, can you make spaghetti and meatballs?" He asked in a hopeful voice. I smiled at the childish look on his face, but nodded a yes.
