Did you know that your heart and your hair cuticles have something in common . Your hair cuticles react to the temperature and to the ph of the substance that you apply to it. For example if water is too acidic it will close your hair shaft but if it's alkalinic it will open it. Just as your steamy shower will open your cuticles, your hot iron will shut them. In order for your hair to remain healthy you need to find the right balance. You want to open your cuticles to take in moisture but you want to close those cuticles right back up in order to keep the moisture in . Think of your cuticles like shutters or blinds for your hair you also have blinds or shutters for your heart. In order to find balance when it comes to the heart, one has to keep the blinders of the heart open, there for letting out every bad memory. For instance every single time a girl has been rejected by a guy, every single time it created deception in her heart that she was unlovable. Mean while believing the lie what she did was close the blinds or shutters to her heart. In doing so she became defensive to everyone, even to the women in her life: to her mother, sisters, brothers, and neighbors. Every time she lacked attention, or was dismissed due to someones busy schedule she perceived it as a rejection. If someone failed to see her point, or said anything contrary to her point by accident or on purpose it became an attack. It's not healthy to keep the blinds of the heart shut, too much oil on the hair cuticles don't allow enough moisture to penetrate the hair and it breaks how much more delicate is the heart. If you need to open the shutters of your heart today say this prayer with me "Father I declare and decree that I never, ever, have I ever been, rejected by you when I received rejection from man. Even when Suzie from grade school said no she didn't like me or Edward from high school didn't think I was pretty . I reject and expell all these lies like thorns chocking up the word of God in my heart. I plant seeds of affiirmation that the Father loves me, and is concerned with every area of my life. He is genuinely concerned with my well being and happiness. Please note that this happiness I speak of is not a thermometer, with which you use your wants and desires to measure your mood, for example you get your dream job your happy , no this happiness he is concerned with is a thermostat, with which God changes the condition of your heart that will eventually dictate your mood .So let go of all the heart aches rejection and disappointments that we face daily in this moment through the blood of Christ so that our hearts can breath and receive love from the father and let's close those blinds so that we can protect our hearts from lies and deception from the enemy.
