The astronomy tower was peaceful, it was just as it had been described in the books, with a mixture of what was seen in the movies. It was amazing. The two youtubers had no trouble getting into the tower. Umbridge didn't have her patrol squad yet.
"Since we know everything, does that mean we can just sneak a gun into Hogwarts she shoot voldemort so nobody has to die?" Sophie asked, suddenly breaking the silence. Her and Seamus were leaning against the railing of the tower, looking at the views below. They both knew Sirius died at the end of this year. And then Dumbledore died the next one. It was one heartbreaking death after the other. And it made it so much more real when you actually saw them in person and knew they were going to die.
"Don't think so, but maybe we can alter the book timeline a bit. At least save Snape." Seamus said, half-jokingly. Oh, Sophie was saving Snape, she already knew he was a hero, whether everyone else knew didn't matter. At least Harry might name his kid something better. Or maybe Ginny would actually get to choose something for once.
"STUDENTS OUT OF BED!!! STUDENTS OUT OF BED!!" A high pitched scratchy voice yelled. Both youtubers hung their heads, annoyed, but relieved that Peeves was actually real.
"Run?" Sophie asked with a grin.
"Run." Seamus agreed. Sophie counted down and both took off at the same time, going right under Peeves and getting out the door. They leaped down six stairs at a time - both of them tripped at least four times- . Peeves had blocked the way to go to the kitchens and the Hufflepuff common rooms, so Sophie grabbed Seamus' arm and dragged him to the Slytherin common room, very much against his will.
"Thank Merlin for Minecraft and their knowledge of what the school looks like because I'd be so lost otherwise," Sophie muttered as they arrived at the Slytherin common room. Sophie muttered the password McGonagall told her and literally had to drag Seamus in. "Hurry up! He's coming!" Sophie grumbled. Seamus groaned and walked into the common room willingly. Sophie shut the way into the common room and listened to Peeves curse outside the door.
"Sophie," Seamus said, Sophie was so busy listening for peeves, she hadn't looked around. Seamus stood frozen to the spot. In the common room, of course, nobody was asleep, but many, many students were from the books and movies, there were a few that she couldn't recognize, possibly students that were in the books but not the movies, and some were never even mentioned in the books.
The main thing Seamus was looking at was the couches around the fireplace. The first thing noticeable was the platinum blonde boy, then the girl hanging on his arm and the two boulders sitting on his right. On another couch, there was a darker skinned boy and a pale freckled boy.
"Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson, Crabbe and Goyle, Blaise Zabini, and Theodore Nott. " Sophie listed in awe, unfortunately, she said it too loud and got their attention. Oh, Merlin, she was about to speak to Draco Malfoy.
"Yes, and who are you?" Draco asked hatefully. Sophie clammed her jaw shut to keep from fangirling.
"I'm Seamus, and this is Sophie," Seamus answered when he noticed Sophie was too messed up to answer.
"And I'm guessing you're both of pure blood since you're in Slytherin?" He asked he was clearly choosing if they were friends or enemies.
"We're actually both Mu-" Sophie stopped Seamus by stomping on his foot.
"Purebloods, we're both purebloods," Sophie answered. Draco gave a simple nod and walked over to the couch to sit with his friends again. Seamus cursed and punched Sophie's shoulder to get back at her.
"Well, haven't even been here a day and you're already lying to your favorite characters," Seamus said quietly. Sophie rolled her eyes, headed for the girl's dorm.
"Meh, they'll get over it, boys dorm is that way," Sophie said, pointing down another hall.
Seamus glared at her for a moment, then went to the boy's dorm.
