Chapter 2

Taehyung's POV:

Seeing the zombie ahead of us made my skin crawl. I have played many games that involve stuff like the undead, but they never looked realistic. They didn't look anything like the one just feet away from us. Namjoon was leading the group when he stopped and told us not to round the corner. (Y/N) was in front of me while Haruna and Jungkook were behind me. Jin, J-Hope, and Suga were in front of (Y/N).

We had our backs against the wall remaining silent. Namjoon didn't want to round the corner, but he also didn't want to move either. I closed my eyes and let out a faint sigh. My eyes slowly opened when I felt something squeezing my left hand. I look down to see the (Y/N) was holding my hand as she stared straight ahead. Her body was shaking.

I still don't understand why she is so scared. When it comes to combat and life and death situations, she isn't shy and usually doesn't show fear. Ever since her parents were killed, she wanted to become stronger so she wouldn't be at a high risk of being a target for a murderer.

Seeing that she was caught in a daze of some sort, I pulled her into my arms, hugging her tightly. She flinched at first from the sudden and unexpected movement, but soon her body began to relax and was no longer shaking.

"(Y/N). You are gonna be just fine. You are with us and you know that we won't let anything bad happen to you." I whispered in her ear.

She slowly lifted her head and looked up at me. With the flashing lights, I was able to catch a glimpse of her red cheeks making me smile slightly.

(Y/N)'s POV:

My heart was pounding from being so close to Taehyung. I slowly nodded my head at his words. He took his hand and slightly ruffled my hair while showing his adorable box smile. Okay yes, I admit it, I have a crush on Taehyung. I have since we were kids, but I know he doesn't like girls like me.

I quickly turned my head when I heard something. It seemed like I was the only one who heard it because Taehyung was looking at me weirdly as I walked closer to the corner. Getting in front of Namjoon, making everyone take a few steps back quietly, I waited.

Furrowing my brows, I slowly turn the corner to see if the zombie was still there. As I turned the corner, my eyes became wide as I held my breath. I was face to face with the zombie that was down the hall.

Haruna's POV:

I was shocked when (Y/N) started backing up as the zombie moved forward. She started to move her arm down her right leg slowly when they stopped walking. She was reaching for her machete, a smaller one I should say, that was in a holster attached to her right thigh by a band.

Once she grabbed the handle of the blade, I saw a small smile form. Smirking slightly, I noticed she was finally starting to relax. She hasn't since this whole mess started. She quickly brought the blade up before bringing it back down diagonally, cutting the zombies head off.

The body fell to the floor with a light thud. Everyone let out a soft sigh knowing that there were no more down the hall.

"Come on, we need to get to the roof quickly, this is our only shot." Jin spoke out, following (Y/N) as she was heading to the stairs.

Jungkook's POV:

It seems like me and the rest of the boys began to relax as we saw (Y/N) start to loosen up a bit. We were walking up the stairs, still staying quite as we don't know if there are more zombies in the building or not.

Haruna was in front of me when going up the stairs, so all I really could see was her ass. A small smirk appearing on my face, I reached my hand out and squeezed one side. She slightly jumped before turning around and glaring at me.

I simply shrugged my shoulders before stopping on the same step as her and pecking her lips softly.

"Love you~" I said, still smiling.

She simply rolled her eyes before returning my small kiss.

"Love you too." She said as she continued going up the steps.

Haruna and I have been dating for a little over 3 years now and I couldn't be happier. We have been trying to get (Y/N) and Tae together, but they are just so stubborn. Everyone stopped moving when we reached the next floor.

J-Hope's POV:

Looking at the floor we just got to, I clenched my jaw at the sight. There were 5 or more zombies on this level and just to top it off, there was broken glass everywhere on the ground. Knowing how this would end even if we were to try quietly, I made the first move of stepping on the glass casually, turning to the rest of them and yelling.

"RUN!"

We turned and ran up the stairs as fast as possible. I could easily hear the zombies chasing us. I kicked the door open to the roof and grabbed a flare and lit it. Suga had grabbed a crowbar and placed it in the handle of the door once we were all on the roof. Zombies started pounding on the door trying to break it down.

"I SEE A HELICOPTER!" Suga yelled.

"OVER HERE!" He continued yelling and waving his arms.

I was waving my arms trying to get their attention, flare still in my hand and still lit. The helicopter didn't see us and flew in the opposite direction.

"WAIT COME BACK!" (Y/N) screamed.

She growled slightly knowing they weren't coming back. Haruna seemed pretty pissed as well. When the two of them are mad nothing ever ends all that well.

"FUCK!" (Y/N) yelled in anger.

The door was starting to break, we didn't have any other option but to fight through what comes at us. Everyone grabbed a weapon. (Y/N) quickly pulled her (H/L) (H/C) into a bun before getting into position.

A few seconds later, the crowbar could no longer hold the weight of all the bodies behind the door, causing it to break in half. Zombies started flooding out of the stairwell and towards us.
